Up for auction is a 1985 CJ7. I have listed 130 high quality pictures so that you can see for yourself that this is one of the nicest CJ7’s in the country and the nicest overall CJ that I have ever seen. The pictures may take a few minutes to download so please be patient and let them all download.

 

 

The paint and body is absolutely a stunning knockout. The body is the original steel tub and all of the sheet metal is original steel. The CJ7 was taken off the frame and put on a rotisserie rack and then sandblasted top. bottom. and inside out down to the bare metal. The Jeep was then prepped. primed. blocked and professionally painted with base coat & clear coat paint. The paint is slick like glass with a deep mirror finish that would win shows anywhere! It comes with Hard Top & Doors and the bikini top as shown in the pictures. It has new wheels and tires. all new glass. new professionally installed and correct stripe package and a Skyjacker 4” suspension lift. (Those Skyjacker parts were Powder Coated also). Every nut. bolt. and washer used on this Jeep is stainless steel!

 

The interior has all new gauges. new wiring. original steering wheel with tilt column. Bestop denim high back front seats and a Bestop denim/cloth rear fold and tumble rear seat all with appropriate seat belts. It comes with the original books and owner’s manual in the glove box as well.

 

 

The original 4. 2L 258ci motor was completely and professionally rebuilt and it runs excellent. The 4-speed transmission shifts great and the 4x4 works just like it is supposed to complete with the 4wd dash light when engaged.

 

The frame and underside is all super hard powder coat and every nut. bolt. line and (fitting when available) is all stainless steel and will never rust. Notice in the pictures every bolt in the frame is stainless. The powder coat frame is super hard and will resist chipping. This Jeep IS in fact better than AMC built in 1985!

 

This Jeep runs. rides. drives. brakes. sounds. and looks great. There are no issues and it is a pleasure to drive and the new owners will be extremely happy. I believe this CJ to be one of the best (if not the best) on the market. I don’t know how you could possibly build one any nicer!

 

 

I can pick you up at the Augusta GA airport on almost any day except Sunday. Fly in and drive it home!
