    This classic Healey was purchased new by a Princeton University student who went on to become a world famous Princeton professor.   The professor averaged only about 1600 miles per year when he parked it in his garage in 1984.  

   Discovered in 1995 by a prominent New Jersey attorney who quickly found that purcasing the car was not going to be easy.   Understandably our professor was reluctant to part with a car that had been part of his entire adult life -- 30 years.   Fortunately the attorney prevailed and the Healey found a good home as it became the recipient of a bare metal ground up restoration that featured NOS parts whenever possible.   The engine was rebuilt by the legendary Frank Bash.

    An exhaustive documentary history including restoration photos and receipts going back to the 70's goes with the car.

    This iconic classic has been maintained as the perfect driver since its restoration.   The overall paint. chrome. glass. top and interior remain in overall excellent condition.   There is nothing that must be done to hit the road.
