This is an incredibly solid 1970 Triumph TR6 ready for a new home.   As with any older car. it has its good and bad elements so let's start with the good.

GOOD: The engine has been rebuilt and balanced including new high performance cam and over-bored cylinders. A new clutch was installed while the engine was out. The intake has been upgraded to a triple Weber (40DCOE) carb setup on an individual runner manifold.   These carburetors are incredible and tunable for any setup.   The exhaust has been upgraded with headers and dual Borla mufflers.   The previous owner had the frame professionally repaired and the trailing arm mounts have been replaced. The frame was treated with anti-rust coating and then painted. The body has a factory spray undercoat that has been touched up.   The car has high performance springs (lowered 1") and the shocks have been replaced with Koni adjustables.   Ignition has been upgraded to full electronic (Pertronix Ignitor) without any external control boxes.   An aftermarket oil cooler keeps the temperatures down.   Most of the carpet has been replaced. The transmission has a factory overdrive.   A street roll bar has been installed (no cross brace) to help keep you safe.   The vehicle comes with hard top and tonneau cover in addition to the soft top.   This is a great 10 foot car and it is really set off by beautiful wire wheels.

BAD:  The finish on this car could use your loving hand.   The rocker panels are solid. They have been treated with anti-rust paint and then not repainted. There is some surface rust on the undercarriage and frame. There are several spots of rust on the car that do not appear to go through (pictured).   These elements are an easy repair during a respray.   There is no radio but buyer gets the speakers in the purchase price.   The seats are original and have several holes in them (could use to be re-covered).   The top closes over the roll bar but the carpet and tonneau do not fit around the roll bar. The car has been garaged for six years and has not been driven during that time (the overdrive worked when it was placed in storage but it has not been road tested recently). The original paint color was New English White (19). It was painted blue and then burgundy. The multiple layers of paint show up on the passenger door and slightly in other places. New gages would be a good investment.

Overall. this is a great car that has been extensively upgraded for performance while maintaining driveability.   It starts quickly at the turn of the key with no hesitation.   I'm no expert in tuning Weber carbs so I am including a synchrometer with the sale.   You may be better at getting the idle speed lower and optimizing the tuning for your use.   A number of additional cosmetic and other parts (many NEW) will be included in the sale.   If you're looking for a great performing car on a solid frame. then get this before it's gone!
