Forced to relist due to a buyer who has fantastic taste but. nbsp; absolutely no money to complete a sale.

 

This beautiful Chevy initially was owned by Chevrolet and used in their pool of autos at their main offices.

Absolutely perfect example of a vintage car which has been pampered and protected for the last 64 years.

I was fortunate enough to acquire it approximately 30 years ago from another collector. It has been kept current on service and has seen about 100 miles of use each year going to small auto shows. and joining club cruises.

The only changes made to the car were: new wide/white radials (orig. spare is still in the trunk)  and a new battery (both last year).

The car drives as though it just came off the showroom floor.  It has never seen any foul weather and has always been stored in a controlled environment.

As with all cars of this era. you will be able to detect a few small laquer checks in the paint. but they do not detract from the beauty of the car and the chrome is fantastic on everything.

There is a very small (whisper leak) where the exhaust manifold meets the engine block (tightening or a new gasket) and the radio has a burned out tube as is very common with this era of car. Both are very cheap and minor fixes. The car was photographed when wet prior to drying and beads of water are what is showing in the pictures.
