Up for auction is a 1972 MGB in what I would call a"very nice driver ". The car has had much work done and looks great.      Mechanicals: The car runs and drivers out nicely with no know issues.  The car starts right up with no smoke or noises.  The car holds about 52 lbs. oil pressure when warm at idle and a tick over 60 lbs. when driving at speed. The engine is tight and I have never seen any fluid leaks under the car.  The transmission shifts up / down  very well and makes no noises when changing gears .  The car will reverse up an incline with no issues and does not pop out of gear.  The clutch peddle is strong as are the brakes. The car was just serviced which included: new spark plugs. new ignition wires. new air cleaners. oil changed. oil filter changed. radiator flushed and new coolant fluid added. all grease fittings lubricated. choke linkage adjusted. rear brakes adjusted. carburetors adjusted / balanced / tuned. fuel mixture reset. nbsp;idle set and the  timing was set.   Also. nbsp;last year a new correct vacuum advance distributor was installed and new front brake pads installed.     Electrical's: This area looks very solid.  The head lights work ( high beam and low beam ). wipers work. blower fan works ( but the dash switch needs to be replace as its weak and does not always engage the fan ). brake lights work. front and rear directional lights work. front and rear running lights work. dash gauge lights work. dash light dimmer switch works. nbsp;hazard switch works. nbsp;horn works and the license plate lights work ( needs one bulb replaced ).  The only things I'm aware of is that the cigarette lighter and the old cassette player  are not working at this time.   Interior: The interior is overall very good condition ( see photos ). It has very nice new seats and a very nice dash.  Good serviceable carpet with MG logo rubber floor mats.   Gauges: All gauges are correct "Smith" brand and all are in proper working order.   Exterior:  The paint was done about a year ago a looks very. very nice. At the time of the painting new chrome fender mirrors. new a chrome trunk lock. new Lucas backup lens and new trunk MG / MGB badges where installed. Also. the engine compartment seals and rear deck lid upper seals where replaaced. The top is new and has never been folded down or than when it was fitted.  The wire wheels really give the car that true British car vibe. The car sits on 4 matching Guardsman Performance radials with very good trend remaining. The body panels are laser straight with no dings or dents.  I'm not an expert and I find no evidence of filler in the rocker panels. dog legs. wheel arches. trunk or accidents.

Underbody: The floors and frame look good and as I recall there is only one repair to the outer drivers side foot well.     Trunk: The car comes with a spare wire wheel and knock off wrench. The car also comes with a very nice top cover and repair manual.

Title: I have a clear North Caolina title in my name and current address ( same as the cars location ).   Heritage: I'm told that this is a numbers matching car and  I have done my research online and believe it to be so but you would need to do your own research to ensure that is the case. Commission date of the car is 5/71. the Vin number is GHN5UC263411 G. body tag  # MGBU 402897 and the  engine number is 18V5842-L3443.  The reference materials  used to verify that the car is a true numbers matching car other than the web  are listed below. Again. the only absolutely way to know is to order a Heritage Certificate from England ( takes about 30 days and cost around $120 ).   1. ) "The Original MGB " Authored by Ditlev Clausager   2.    Victoria British Cars quarterly  MGB magazine   3. )  Heritage-Motor-Centre. co. uk research / archives     Buy It Now: Yes I'm open to offer but the offer MUST be over the starting price or current bid price of the car.  The offer must be over the starting price or the current bid price of the car.
