1973 Plymouth Duster 340 -H Code Pro-Street 9 Second Street Legal Sleeper.

 Street Legal 9 Second. 800 HP Pro-Street Hemi Duster on Motor No Nitrous.

Now with a new 6. 00 Stall Converter and a fresh worked Dominator carb the car will even be faster. Trans Just serviced at the same time. & a Fresh 8 Quart oil change all completed in (January 2014)

This car was built for both the Street & the Strip. It has been Mostly used on the street but is perfectly capable in full race Competition.   It is as docile at the track with no bad tendencies. and is almost hands off even through the first 300' even on some of the most notoriously greasy track conditions.

Through the mufflers (Super 10s)  She will do 1. 3 60' times. nbsp;   and Very Consistent 9. 40 ET's.  It could be even faster with a Gear change. but I didn't want to loose its street drivability as it is now. At 60 MPH it is only tacking 2500 Rpm's.

I never have any concerns or issues in taking off to a cruise night or street events and driving it wherever you needed to go. It is just as Docile on the street as it is at the track. The car has a Full set of illuminated gauges including a Tachometer. nbsp; Speedometer. with Odometer. Fuel level Gauge. nbsp; Voltage. trans and oil Pressure & temperature. Even the dome light works in the factory headliner.  

The Car is a factory 340 (H) Code car with a clear title in my Name. Door Vin and Radiator support all match the title & Vin plate.

I just Completed a full new interior. See the Invoice picture ($7. 28. 67)  I just wanted it to be perfect.

The Body is Clean with only Minor Nicks. No rust or dents. The Paint is eight years old and is PPG Base/Clear coat. With factory 340 stripes. And a Perfect Gator top for that sleeper mode. Complete Foot Brake Car is amazing…

The car has enough clearance to pull the rear wheels without removing the coil overs. The Body is all Steel including the trunk & Bumpers. the Cowl Hood is the only fiberglass piece and it has working hinges.

Also to keep this car street legal it has working Headlights. Taillights. turn signals. and a complete 80 Amp East Coast Electric charging system.   The car weight is 3200 lbs.

The Motor is a Mopar Performance HEMI Mega Block. ( Casting # 2468330)

492 Ci. 4. 572 Bore with 3. 750 Stroke  Steel Crank. MGP Aluminum Rods. Jesel Rocker arms.

We went with 572-13 Aluminum Indy Cylinder Heads with Copper gaskets. Could have used Hemi Heads but we felt this would be a more carefree setup. and it really works Perfect!!!

This is a True Hemi Block. So at any time you could install some hemi heads if you want that full hemi Look. Your Choice.

 External Belt drive Oil pump. with remote filter. ATI Balancer. MSD Belt drive Distributer. Roller Cam. Crane Lifters. Smith Brothers Push rods. Ae Fuel pump. Meziere Elect water Pump. and Housing. 2. 25” Custom built Headers to be easily removed with no problems with no clearance issues. running back to 4” exhaust system. ( Sound awesome) Motor Plates front & Mid. New High torque starter.

Dyno'd at 803 Hp @ 7300 RPM with Complete Dyno Sheets and all stats will be included with this sale. A fresh Holley 1050 CFM Dominator carb custom tuned & worked for Max performance. Built proof 3 speed race trans with no trans brake. 6. 00 stall converter. built to handle 800+ HP with no problems. external cooling. All the windows are Glass. Not Lexan. the windows roll up and down as factory.

The rear end is a Ford 9” 4. 30 Moser Gears. Spool and ends. 4 Link.

The chassis is a Custom Built by the best Jim Grashel Fabrication 25-1C

Wilwood Master Cylinder. and 4 wheel Disc & Calipers all the way around. Stops on a dime. Line Lock with control on the shifter.

Competition Engineering Coil overs & shocks all four corners. a Perfect setup

Four new Weld wheels. with new tires.  Competition Engineering Rack & Pinion work great.

Griffin Aluminum Radiator with Electric fan. keeps the car cool at all times even in hot summer street driving.

Just to much to list everything that has been done on this car.

No expense Spared in the Build of this Pro-Street Car. and as you well know I have 3 Times more invested than what I'm going to sell her for. Unfortunately this bad economy has hit home and now I must let it go.
