Masterfully Restored ’53 Chevy Pickup

If you’re on the market for a classic show truck with undeniable appeal. then this 1953 Chevrolet 3100 ½ ton pickup may be your ideal ride.   With a dark teal paint body. black fenders and a wooden bed. this is one of the most gorgeous Chevy pickups we’ve see in quite some time.   It features a 1953 272 CI inline 6 cyl.  engine under the hood with a 1953 Hudson Hornet tri-carburetor manifold with automatic choke.  A 3 speed manual transmission with overdrive matched to a 330 rear end gives it excellent results at freeway speeds. The front end clip is a Heidt's Super Ride Mustang 2 with front disc brakes and rear drum. Other upgrades include a 12 volt system with electric fuel pump. nbsp;and we would dare say that it drives better than half the modern trucks on today’s roadways.   There’s no doubt about it though; it’s definitely one of the prettiest.

This Pickup is currently scheduled to be assigned a re-issued VIN and at this time can not be sold until this is completed. although it will be available by the beginning of January 2014. Mark your calendars you do not want to miss out on this one.

Exceptional Everyday Performance

The current owner of this 1953 Chevrolet 3100 ½ ton pickup has invested over $52. 00 in the restoration of this classic truck and he has the receipts to prove it.   The paint. interior and the wood-grain bed are virtually flawless with only a few minor paint chips keeping it from perfection.   It has won multiple awards in the Bay Area as well. but the real charm of this beauty comes from the exceptional driving and handling that it delivers.   Additionally. the owner is also including a custom tonneau cover for the bed as well.
