1942 Packard 160. let me start out by saying that this car is coming out of a very private collection. this car was very rarely shown. and when shown always took best of show and first place in its class. The 1942 packard was the last year for the 160 car and was also a very short year. due to the war. The car is finished in laser black paint. and features dual side mount spare tires. as well as bumper guards. and packard issue spot light. The car has buck skin colored tan interior with wood grain inserts. The car has a straight 8. with 3 speed on the column and overdrive. It also features heater and defroster. The car was restored a couple years back. and no expense was spared. ever nut and bolt was gone through. The entire drivetrain was rebuilt. All new brakes and lines as well as fuel system was put on new. using all original packard equipment. All the chrome and trim was redone. Like i said the entire car was redone over a several year period to the highest degree. Their is nothing to hide with this car. really an amazing pieces. perfect for a collector or museum. The car rides and drives perfect. Everthing on the car works just like new. I cant speak enough about the quality of the car and how amazing it rides and drives. someone wont be disappointed in this one. The car is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off if sold. The car is sold as is with no warranty. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the car is to be picked up or arrangments are made for the car to be shipped.
