This Corvette is out of a local gentleman's private collection. It was judged chapter Top Flight in 2006 and put back into storage. We were told by the owner that of the 200 plus cars sent to California. this is 1 of 16 left or even known. In 2006 it was the first time any of the judges in this region had seen this system in person. In the Noland Adams book “Corvette Restoration & Technical Guide Volume 1” it shows this system and it is correct. This has all of the correct parts for a fuelie Corvette. There is the ‘dimple' to the left of the tachometer cable. the heat shield for the washer bottle on the passenger side. the washer bottle is in the correct spot as well as the hose pass through in the fire wall. there is no choke tube hole in the passenger manifold. the horn relay is in the correct location. it has the correct radiator seals and square seal retainers and it has the correct small X air filter housing. It starts right up and drives great. Just look at the pictures from top to bottom. they tell the story on this ‘62 Corvette.
