1959 Triumph TR3A. overdrive. wire wheels

This is a nicely restored Triumph that is a great driving car. It was completely redone about ten years ago to high standards and has been enjoyed by its current owner here in southern California. The TR3A runs great and everything works as it should. It has very nice chrome wire wheels and a rare original overdrive transmission that works as it should.

The brakes are great. The tires are like new. It has blue leather seats with white piping and a very nice quality wool carpet set in blue with white piping. It has a high quality  tonneau cover in blue stayfast material along with the matching convertible top. The top bows are attached to the car. The side curtains are nice.

The body is straight and rust free and the paint is very nice and is a white pearl which looks great with the blue interior. There are a couple of minor blems that are too small to show in a photo. This is one you can just hop in and drive. Just serviced in our shop. All gauges work and it runs cool. Carbs are balanced and the engine runs strong with good oil pressure. Starts easily with the choke and is smooth. The transmission shifts easily and is quiet.

All in all a very nice looking and driving car that needs a new home. TR3's are one of the worlds' most beloved sports cars with good reason. They combine performance and unique styling and have become an icon of their era.
