This 1953 MG TD is assembled on a 1970 Volkswagon Super Beetle chassis with engine and transmission.  This beauty is a head-turner no matter where you go!  New shocks and tires all around gives you a smooth and comfortable ride. The new GT exhaust sounds great. and not like a "whistling" Volkswagen. The battery is a year old and very dependable. This car is titled. registered and insured in Virginia. This beauty is fantastically fun to drive and is always good for a smile. a look and a wave from young and old alike. The manual 4spd transmission shifts easily. Runs on unleaded fuel and has the usual rear engine. rear wheel drive. This is a convertible. made to enjoy and have fun in the sun and beautiful evenings. The soft top is functional. - You are bidding on a 1953 MG T-Series Convertible Replica with a manual transmission. - British Racing Green exterior and a tan interior. - Assembled in 1985 and was built on top of a 1970 Volkswagen Super Beetle engine. transmission and chassis. - Exterior includes beautiful chrome on pieces such as the front and rear bumpers. the back of both headlights. the back of both side mirrors. the grill on the front of the car. and the spokes on all four wheels.  - Paint on the fiberglass exterior of the car is in very good condition. - Vehicle comes with analog VDO gauges.   The speedometer. fuel and amperes gauge are responsive and accurate.  The tachometer gauge is not connected. - All lights work as designed.   Dash lights also properly work. - Vehicle comes with a fully functioning trumpet horn which is powered by a working air compressor. - Windshield wipers work and the switches on the dash used to activate things such as the headlights. courtesy lights. heater blower all work as they should. - Removable convertible top is in functional condition but the side curtains are not rain-tight and are very difficult to use (I do not use them at all). - The top. less side curtains snap down and does a reasonable job of keeping spray and rain out assuming you're not driving in a downpour. - 1600cc four cylinder engine runs strong and starts up quickly. - European GT exhaust system installed which gives the engine a powerful sound while running -- no typical whistling VW sound.

SHIPPING/STORAGE:  Shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed upon.  Vehicle may only be picked up once full payment has been cleared.  Storage for the first 14 days is 100% FREE.  There is a storage charge of $200/week beyond 14 days after the end of the listing.  If you want to avoid these storage fees but can't pick the car up for months. I can set you up with a public storage unit under your name. put the car in there and Fedex you the keys. title. etc. as long as you have paid in advance.

I recommend that you have the vehicle inspected.   Virginia does not require a state inspection for antique vehicles.  As I said. this vehicle is currently titled. registered and insured in Virginia.   You get the car as pictured and described along with a clear title. a Bill of Sale. two keys. and any vehicle records that I have in my possession.
