For sale my mk2 2door Harrier rep.

 

1976 originally an Irish car hence the number plate. I have the normal uk v5c in my name. car has M. O. T till July 2014.

 

Body.

 

A very straight & tidy car. as far as i can tell every panel is the original with exception of the outer sills which I think have been changed but done to a good standard. Original wings. slam panel. front panel etc so all the panel gaps are spot on! It's the early type shell with rounded edge slam panel etc so ideal to do an RS1800 replica with? (I have a full 1800 zetec rwd package to do this with that I might sell if interested?) Under the bonnet all the inner wings etc are original and 100% solid. the only sign of any welding ever done is a small patch done near the bonnet hinge/rear section. the usual spot.

In the boot there are no signs of any welding ever been done & it doesent need any. again 100% solid. The wheel arches are all like new and are factory rolled like on an export shell. perfect for dropping on it's arse with 7 or 8" rims! Fitted with a fiberglass front spoiler and a good rubber RS boot spoiler.

 

The paintwork overall is pretty good but it will need a few bits doing here & there to make it cock on. It's been Diamond white since new. the paint under the bonnet and in the boot is original but the exterior has been painted at some point. Harrier stripes - although whoever fitted them put them on an inch or so too low?

Overall very tidy though.

 

Engine.

 

Only a 1300cc (711m) I'm affraid but a sweet little motor. no tappet noise at all. it just purrs and it actually pulls better than a lot of 1600 xflows ive had. will cruise on the motorway at 75-80 without any fuss. Still on the 4 speed box but again in good condition.

 

Interior.

 

Had black interior from new. now has a set of Harrier fishnet recaro's with matching rear seat all still in the original black beta cloth & in good condition. Harrier/sport steering wheel. The only downside is someone has fitted a carpet from a left hand drive car so the heel pad is on the passenger side. would be ok with some overmats in though. you wouldn't tell. On the plus side the carpet is like brand new & is black.

 

Currently fitted with a set of 5  Revolution minitors (minilite style) 6jx13 with nearly new 185-60-13 tyres.
