Austin 8. 1946. Its all been done !. Restored by a retired garage owner. Would have cost a lot of money to do if it was put out as a paying job. Photographic record of the work done. All 4 doors removed and stripped down. ower sections cut out. new panels made and welded in place. The boot lid was removed and the base was cut out new metal welded in as required. Sunroof removed locks freed off. rusty panel removed. new one made and welded in. The rear of both front wings cut out new metal welded in. Complete car prepared and resprayed finished in Black. A new headlining was installed by professional coach trimmer. A new carpet set is fitted. All the seats and side panels cleaned and reconnolised. To make the car easy to start and reliable. it has been converted to 12 volts. all appropriate items changed. A discreet flasher set has been installed for safer turning. The headlamps have been converted to sealed beam. The car now starts every time on the button. the engine is sweet running. looks as if it has been overhauled in recent times. Now MOT exempt. but passed the test in 2012 with no advisories. A good 68 year old classic that will not need constant fiddleing with. just drive it and enjoy. The car is registered in my name. taxed October 2014. Hi, I found this car for sale on the net, but it seems to be an old advert. Is the car still in your ownership?

I am the Austin Eight Register Chairman and it seems that I do not have this car registered, at least not by it's registration.

So hopfully you are able to share with me some deatils to check if this car is registered with the Austin 8 Register.
