For sale is a 1969 AMC AMX . One Owner car.
390 Engine
4 Speed Transmission
75% ORIGINAL Paint (I was told by original owner family it was all original but I believe the front clip has been repainted years ago)
ORIGINAL Title
Car was purchased from the family of the Original Owner who has passed away.
I have the original Title. it is clear & open.
The title is a New Jersey title from 1969 but I found receipts in the glove box from the early 80's with the car having work done to it from the Orlando area (Which is where it was when purchased from family) so I believe it has been in Florida most of the time.

The odometer shows 94. 30 and I was told that was the original miles.
I was also told the car has never been in any accidents or has ever been repainted. It is sporting the original bittersweet orange color by like I stated earlier I believe the front two fenders were repainted at some point in time years ago.
The engine purrs like a kitten. the car runs. drives and shifts great.
The brakes all seem to work as well (But I would recommend going through them) the emergency brake works.
The lights work. Tach works. directional work. even the trunk light works!
The trunk is very solid and basically has no rust.
The windows do not go up and down properly (Can be fixed with a after market kit)

Also the family could not find the drivers seat as the owner was replacing the carpet before he passed so the passenger seat is in place of the drivers seat presently. (So to be clear a "drivers seat" will be needed as it is missing)
The floors. trunk. frame are all solid and the only rust that I can find is what is pictured in rear quarter panels. new patch panels are available for purchase online to correct the quarter panel issue.

The dash is in excellent condition. Tilt column (Very rare item). new carpet. headliner is sagging. all plastic inside is present and in very nice shape.
Looks to be new chromed bumpers front and rear. the hood has some damage to it on the front tip and seems to be bent downward like someone leaned on it but fixable.
Good matched set of tires sporting the original rims!

The chrome piece at the bottom of rear window is in car and in excellent shape. there is basically no rust at all in that window channel.

Overall this is a GREAT car to restore. these cars were rare in 1969. now extremely rare and fetching big money once restored.
