I paid a mint for this car . probably 5 years ago. 12. 00 to be exact but it was MINT. I mean absolutely no rust period. All the chrome is perfect! I had to install roto-flex couplings on her but that gave me time to crawl under and saw that indeed. she was clean as a whistle. I undercoated the wheel wells. installed a new. solid wood walnut dash along with a new rear window defrost switch. I had even bought new window trim. rubber. etc. so that I could take them out and paint the car again and put new back. It's a shame because I didn't want to start it up with trash gas in it. I had done a tune-up and compression test on it when I got her and every cyl. was + or - 2 lb. across the board!! SWEET. The compression was perfect. No smoke except the usual puff after hitting second gear. lol. I'm not going to tell you to come get some car that the engine was blown in. This car was parked fine. However. my health wont even let me walk 20 ft with-out gasping much less work on a car again. These cars are getting RARE! They are going up and up because they were all destroyed on the SCCA track or put in the yards to rust away. Not this baby. It was totally original. right down to the points and distributer when it arrived. You are going to need to come see her as there is no other way because its in a storage locker. sitting. waiting to be made a Barrett Jackson car with just a little work. You could NOT start with a better candidate than this. I have had to use gallery pictures as there are none of mine available. This will at least let you know what a GT6+ looks like. The GT6+ with the 1969 tag is almost exact. I even have 1970 GT6 on my tag. lol. I have the brush bars. chrome the come up between the rear bumpers and don't have the chrome tips but the wheel covers. the stock  ones on this car are exactly what I have. I even bought some extra. almost perfect ones here somewhere if I can locate them. I also even got an extra transmission for the car because their transmission is supposed to be their weak link and I wanted to be prepared. I NEVER bought half. arse or cheap. Get it right or dont get it. This is the GT6+ with all the louvers in the hood. on top and sides. the chrome strips that run down BOTH front and rear fenders. the vents behind the rear fold out windows. the split bumpers with the brush bars. EVERY CHROME OPTION PLUS the chrome is MINT. My only mistake was when I first got it and was installing the roto-flex couplings I put a cover on it and the wind sanded the paint job back and forth till it went dull. ARGH. that was stupid of me. I got the storage right away but the paint needs to be re-done to be mint. Everything else is close to perfect. maybe some new foam in the seats of course. stuff like that but all in all. you cannot  find a better time capsule car anywhere.
