Seller's notes: This kit car roof has small tears around edges, the body is pretty good, there is one indicator glass broken. Since having the car rewired, sprayed and a new ignition, due to a broken key, and new radiator I have had no serious problems. I purchased the car locally and have only driven it for about 500 miles.

E-Type Jaguar Replica Kit Car

 

This is an E-Type Jaguar Replica Kit Car that I purchased locally from the previous owner who I believe brought it from the person that built the car in the first instant. The original builder of the car I have been told actually worked for Jaguar.

I have owned the car for about 5 years and brought as a working running project but never really got around to doing much apart from having the car re-wired. a new radiator. new tyres and having the car sprayed. all locally.

I am selling the E-Type now as I a presently unable to drive due to a recent illness and therefore rather than leave the car to slowly deteriorate I thought I would sell it. I have probably only driven the car for 500 miles in the past and the car has been kept in a friends garage. The car looks and feels really good. goes really well and holds the road great. the roar of the engine is addictive and the heads turn when you drive through the towns and villages.

 

The car engine is a 2. 8 Granada V6 and the kit is the TripleC. superseded by the Challenger.

You are more than welcome to come and look. hear it purr and take it for a short spin on our drive. as the car is presently SORN. not Taxed or Tested.

I think I helped to make this car at the factory in Charlestown, Cornwall. I have always wanted to own one since as I drove the first one produced featured in the brochure and local TV at the time. I would need a loan or PC to buy it though even though many years has past since!

Hi, it's great to see my old car looking good after twenty odd years. I was that first owner. You kept it so long! Sorry to hear you are no longer driving. As I recall it was a bit cramped for you but you bought it anyway. I do hope it gave you years of pleasure. This was Triple C's demonstrator and I bought it from them back in 89 I think. I'm tempted but I don't think my wife would really appreciate it as I was with my previous partner when I owned this and I lived back in Kent. Living now in Somerset now and the roads are awful! Good luck with the sale and I hope she goes to a good home.
