Nicely detailed driver. Completely reliable. drive anywhere. daily. Rust free So Cal car. Gets compliments everywhere it goes.  

New Factory Crate 4 bolt 350. 260 HP. 300 lbs torque.  Has about 4. 00 miles on it. installed 5/2012.  Still under the 50. 00 mile/2 year warranty. (Receipts available).  Professional engine installation using folded. stamped frame mounts. and a tubular trans mount that is bolted to crossmember. Both engine and trans use stock Chevy cushions. a very smart installation.  Edelbrock Performer intake and electric choke 600 carb. Genuine Chevy HEI ignition and platinum plugs. Ceramic coated early Ram's Horn exhaust. nbsp;aluminum coated exhaust pipes. Flowmaster mufflers.  Flowcooler water pump. new fuel pump. new alternator. new degreed balancer. new 180 thermostat. new hoses. new TCI flexplate. new Powermaster starter. I like dependability and drivability. how about you?  Enough chrome goodies to sparkle. Runs great and smooth. good power (much more power than the Y-Block) and great gas mileage. Full size fan and real copper and brass radiator (re-cored) so it always runs cool.

Great shifting 4L60 4 speed automatic with overdrive. There are no vibrations from the driveshaft or U-joints.

Stock V-8 rear end. 3:56. goes perfect with the overdrive trans. Fast from a stop light. New pinion seal and fresh oil.

Rebuilt front end. Sway bar is re-bushed with greaseable urethane bushings. New Eaton progressive wound front springs. The car rides and handles much better than stock. Excellent stock steering. Front end was just aligned. Drives straight and true.  You can travel in the fast lane in this car.  KYB Gas A Just shocks.

Just a word on the original steering. . When the steering box is good. and the front end is good. and the alignment is right. these cars steer fine. This car steers just fine. See the video.

Bolt on CCP power boosted brakes. Granada bolt on spindle disc brakes up front. If you have ever driven a 55 - 56 Ford with manual brakes. you know power brakes are a must. Stops straight and sure. It now has a Corvette style tandem master cylinder. and greater safety than the stock brakes.

New heater core. new heater control valve. new air distributor. "Magic Aire" controls are E-Z to operate. heater. defroster. both vents working right. 2 speed blower switch. 12 volt heater motor. new control cables. all cleaned and lubricated. This system is the factory option "fresh air heater". it is vastly superior to the base version.

Second to none unmolested original dash. none better to be had. The chrome on the dash controls are not pitted like they are on most of the $40. 00. 00 "restored" cars. The paint on the dash was sanded and rubbed out. All interior stainless is in place. Rear seat ashtrays in place. Dome light works as new. Fabulous French stitched custom interior with heavy woven inserts. heavy wind lacing.   The quarter window and door window reveals are wrapped in matching material. Upgraded larger arm rests so you can actually use them. The inside of this car is quiet and comfortable and you will never want to get out of it. it is that nice. The trunk is fully finished to match. Dennis Carpenter door. trunk. windshield. rear glass and cowl seals. Matching seat belts and padded visors.

All dash lights work. speedo works. gas gauge. nbsp;high beam indicator. turn signals. turn signal indicators. horns. parking brake all work. I do not know if the original radio or the lighter works. The clock is a factory option electric version. I do not know if it works.  The vacuum wiper motor is trying to work. but is not making a full revolution. There are new wiper arms and blades in place. Wiper pivot shafts are great. New window channels. new door and vent window glass. new ignition switch and door locks keyed to match.   Doors fit and operate correctly. glass goes up and down like they should.  Hood and trunk stay up properly with the springs. No worn out hood. door or trunk hinges.

High end Alpine CD AM FM Clock with remote and MP3 port discreetly mounted in the new glove box. The antenna is flush mount and it goes up and down automatically. FIVE HIDDEN SPEAKERS. a nice custom touch.

The car was re-wired with an aftermarket kit with modern push in fuses. There are several circuits that are not being used. One of them is for air conditioning. So if you are wanting air conditioning. the circuit is there. the wire for the compressor clutch is already in the engine harness. and the crank pulley already has 3 grooves for 3 belts. All the air modern conditioning pumps and mounts fit this engine. E-Z Peezy.

Bumpers were re-chromed. new grille. new turn signal housings. new turn signal lenses. new taillight lenses. new taillight housings. new chrome pencil tips. Polished American Torq Thrust wheels.  

The engine is painted to match the body color. so there is no spray can over grime on a junkyard "runs" engine here. The chassis is painted black. The floor is painted red oxide enamel. so there is no flat black spray can over rust and grime. There is no gunked up undercoating underneath. New steel gas tank and sending unit.

 What could it use? The vertical seals for the vent windows are crumbling. They cost $14. 00 last time I checked.  The PPG urethane paint has been sanded and buffed to a brilliant shine. But there are touched up chips and minor issues. I have the PPG paint code and additional paint for the winning bidder.

This is a common sense. good looking. fun. dependable car. Mildly lowered. nosed and decked. It is a cool street rod and you can drive it every day. it is much faster. handles better and stops better than the original car.  You can pay much more than the price of this car and get a lot less.

A word about my feedback. I sold my 1940 Ford Coupe here on EBay for $40. 00. 00.  I delivered it to the buyer's shipper (200 mile round trip) FREE of charge. The buyer of that car left his feedback "you can trust him with your bank". Does it get better than that?
