Ford Escort MK1 1300 Sport for sale

I bought this Escort some years ago. nbsp; even now I think I will regret this sale in the future. but sadly don't have the time to complete.

This Is a 1974 ( will be tax exempt from 2014 following changes made in the March budget)  genuine 1300 Sport.

The car runs and drives but has not been on the road since the early 90's. during this time it has always been dry stored.

It has had Ziebart treatment which has preserved it well. However it is an almost 40 year old Ford and has had a couple of small MOT repairs in its past.

Underneath has been cleaned and all old paint and rust removed prior to Stoneguard. Outer sills are original.

The front struts have been cut out and replaced  new under wing pan and pan supports have been fitted. Also new front cross member and front panel. Wings have been replaced in the past.

It is painted in Daytona yellow but has a few storage marks and some cracks in the paint on the rear wing.

Due to the time I have owned this Escort I may have forgotton some things but new parts fitted include

Front & rear screen seals Track rod ends Bottom track control arms Stearing gaitors Brake master cylinder Brake pipes Brake cables Plus various bushes

To complete this project the things I can remember it will need are

Exhaust Front lights etc refitting ( supplied) Front brake calipers to fit ( supplied but need service) Head lining will need attention or replacement All interior is just place in position for photo's so will need assembly

The sale will include lots of spares including front quater bumpers which have been re- chromed . centre console( with clock) and dashboard top ( which has no cracks)

There maybe the odd thing missing but nothing major.

To sum up  it just needs someone with  time to complete.

I'm sure I have forgotton a few things but the car is available to view by appointment prior to sale.
