1942 International Harvester Crash Truck. This model is built on the International K5 series truck with the dual rear axle. It is a series 125 of which there were very few built. ess than 300. and even fewer with this particular bed unit. The bed and pump unit were built by the Bean Cutlery Company. This particular model is a foam pumper for air field use. The pump has been untested but still retains oil and turns over but will need some going through to actually use. The truck was purchased about 5 years ago as a restoration project. The previous owners cleaned the fuel tank. ran new fuel lines. brakes all rebuilt. and rebuilt the carb. When we purchased it we did a complete cosmetic restoration. The cab was left on the frame but all body panels were removed. stripped/sandblasted. primed and painted.  New windshield glass installed and the crank mechanism was cleaned and now pushed windshield in and out. Replaces the front 2 tires and tubes with new Denman Hwy's. The driver and passenger windows will need replacing. the dash is not hooked up to work. I do know that the volt meter was working. along with the temp gauge and oil pressure. Speedo was not working and the speedo cable is broken. The speedometer shows just under 8000 miles. although I cannot confirm there is not more since the cable is broke. A small modern 3-gauge unit was installed below the dash. An alternator has been installed and upgraded to 12 volt negative ground from a 6 volt positive ground. The generator will be included in sale. The only thing that is wired up is the engine. The headlights and tail lights are all still 6 volt and there is no wiring to them but they were functional when we first bought it. Seats were re-covered with tan canvas. The bottom of the water tank was rotted so a new bottom was welded in. and the original wood that the water tank rested on was replaced. The truck will run. but has been sitting for a little over a year now. It was never driven out of 2nd gear. The timing does need to be adjusted. We only used it to display and always trailered it. It has been sitting under cover but the paint has begun to fade and could probably use a new coat of paint. I'll let the pictures do most of the talking. They are from about 3 years ago so please understand it is not this bright anymore but that also does not mean the it is rotted by any means. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. There is no title since the state of Georgia does not issue them for vehicles this old. A bill of Sale will be provided. Thank you for looking and happy bidding!
