Here is a car for the true British sports car enthusiast or collector. This 1969 Triumph TR-6 Convertible is not only a rare year of production. but it is an EARLY PRODUCTION CAR! According to the TR-6 Registry. this is the 32nd car built on the line.
In an email from the TR Registry:
"Your TR6 is actually the 30th production TR6 as CC25001L & CC25002L were prototypes built much earlier and not on the production line. There are currently only 2 TR6 known to be earlier than yours these being CC25017L owned by Len Drake of Drake Motors in Kelowna and CC25026L which was recorded by the VTR as being in their club a number of years ago. "

I am the second owner of this car and do not have time for it unfortunately. It was purchased new by the original owner in California. driven there and brought to Ohio when he moved here. It sat in storage for close to 20 years until I purchased it. I was easily able to get it running. but to move it we had to break the rear drums off (they had seized to the shoes). It will need basically everything brake related on  both rear wheels before it can be driven. As to the body. some minor blemishes are present but no rot. Surface rust is present underneath the vehicle but it is solid with no rot or holes (I doubt that is is anything that could not be removed with a wire brush). The top is believed to be the original and is in good shape. the tires are original as well and hold air with no leaks. The engine will start and run. Buyer assumes all responsibility for transportation as I will not be involved in shipping it. Local pickup only with NO WARRANTY. You will be bidding on this car AS IS-WHERE IS and you must pick it up. so bid accordingly. If you would like to see the car. contact Patrick at 440-477-7705. Good luck bidding and have a safe and happy new year!
