WOW ! This BEAUTIFUL - RARE - '49 Dodge B-Series - "Pilothouse Cab" - 1/2 Ton Pickup is too cool ! If you have been thinking of restoring a truck. you know what it costs to do a restoration like this not to mention the hundreds of hours involved ! Careful to not let this one get away ! Sun Yellow with Black running boards has got to be the very best color combination for this model Dodge pickup !! We just purchased this truck from a local retired collector who has just sold his home. He and his wife bought a motorhome that they are going to live and travel in so they had no place to keep this BEAUTY. LUCKY YOU !! As you can clearly see in the pictures this was his pride and joy for sure !! He told us several times that this truck has 94. 45 ACTUAL - ORIGINAL MILES since brand new  and yes we do have an odometer statement !! He also told us that this truck was bought brand new in Washington state and has had three Washington owners and then he bought the truck making him the fourth owner and he brought it to Idaho. It still retains its ORIGINAL 1949 Washington license plate that was first put on the truck when bought brand new !! He had a restoration done several years ago removing everything from the frame except the cab which he told us just didn't need to be removed as it looked GREAT ! This is a NICE - SOLID - DRY - ALL STEEL - Washington State - Idaho high mountain desert - Western truck that runs and drives WELL ! This pickup still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted Dodge drivers side door jam mounted data plate and a Dodge B-Series driver's manual. both of which are shown in a two pictures below. This 1949 Dodge B-1-B - "Pilothouse Cab" - 1/2 Ton Pickup is a definite eye catcher for sure.  It is sound and in GREAT shape. It has what appears to be its - STRONG - ORIGINAL - Code "T142" - 218 CID Flathead Inline 6 cylinder motor in it and running very well. The motor also retains it's ORIGINAL Intake manifold. ORIGINAL exhaust manifold. ORIGINAL Carter 1 barrel carb and the ORIGINAL "Oil Bath" air cleaner.  Sounds good too with the factory style exhaust system with chrome tip. The engine is backed by a - SMOOTH - OPTIONAL - Four Speed manual transmission that also functions very well. The Black vinyl Interior is in NICE condition with a VERY NICE Black vinyl bench seat. NICE Matching  Black vinyl door panels. nbsp;good Black vinyl headliner. VERY NICE Black vinyl sunvisors. NICE Original style black rubber floor mat. nbsp;good ORIGINAL Dodge  steering wheel and NICE Original factory gauge clusters. This pickup comes well equipped with a WORKING Original "Mopar Truck Master" cab heater. factory manual throttle and choke. factory wing windows. good glass. original AM transistor radio which is no longer working. factory "adjustable firmness" bench seat. factory wipers and a factory pop-up front air vent.  All of the black rubber weatherstripping is soft. supple and in NICE condition.
