land rover series 111 series 3 FULLY RESTORED

This sale is for the purchase of a fully restored Land Rover series 3 88inch soft top however this advert also applies to various other versions from series 1. 2 . a or series 3 and some early 200tdi's that qualify to be imported into the USA  under the over 25 year old category. br>The land rover type you choose will be sourced for you and restored to as close as can be to the original factory finnish or better . nbsp;
the restoration will not be a strip down and repaint it will be a full and extensive overhaul to include a complete strip and rebuild/ refurbishment of the following ;
Engine ( completely rebuilt to as new or better . including new piston rings. shell bearings and all new seals and gaskets fully cleaned and re enamalled block and head )  Gearbox and transferbox ( fully rebuilt all new bearings and seals regardless of whether needed. new shims and any worn gearing replaced . selector shaft seals upgraded and all new gaskets and washers. )Axles and hubs ( completely stripped and overhauled all new bearings seals and gaskets all worn gearing replaced )Brakes ( completely renewed including wheel slave cylinders and or calipers. master cylinders overhauled all springs replaced)Electrics ( all ignition parts replaced or upgraded to a modern low maintainence system . wiring looms replaced with brand new looms . lighting can be upgraded to modern halogen versions on request. all switches clocks etc restored where able. all light units. lenses and bulbs replaced with new items . brand new battery and rebuilt charging system . dynamo charging units can be upgraded to an altenator to allow extras like radios and additional lighting to be added. additional extras eg CB radios. cd players and stereos can fitted at extra cost )Chassis  (will be in A1 mint condition or replaced to a fully galvanised version and can be coated or coloured in almost any colour you want )Body (the interior and exterior of the body will be completely stripped and restored and all corrosion removed and stripped back to the bare metal and then zinc painted primed and painted in at least 6 coats of colour . the bulk head will be galvanised prior to painting to ensure no future corrosion . interior trim ( all seating will be competely retrimmed in a choice of colours and material types in keeping with the original landrover upholstery . water proof and soundproof rubber matting will be fitted to both the front and rear of the landrover . roof lining where fitted will be reupholstered and any door cards will be renewed as required. custom upholstery can be made and fitted at extra cost) i am able to carry out various modification subject to additional fees.

in short our land rovers are checked and tested right down to every nut and bolt and are restored to an extremely high standard far beyond that of any other landrover restorer her in the uk 
the completion time of your land rover will normally be between 4 and 6 months from the date of deposit and the final works agreement . and will come with a matching numbers documentation and service history where possible (unless a non original engine type is requested. a full write up of works carried out during the restoration will come with the landrover.
i can organise the export transport and delivery to a cargo port for you. br>prior to commencing any works a 50% deposit will be expected via international bank transfer with the remainder  inclusive of shipping costs to be paid upon final completion
