1966 Chevrolet Corvette

It left the St. Louis factory with a 327/300hp engine and standard steel wheels and covers. which are included in addition to the wheels you see in the photos. It was painted Rally Red with a black leather interior. It’s equipped with factory air. It was painstakingly restored to original condition in the early 1990s.

Since then. the car has gone on to win many awards. and rightfully so. The restoration binder on this Corvette is several inches thick. and shows everything. It’s won Top Flight awards from NCRS. first in class at NCRS meets. and even carries Gold Certified status from Bloomington Gold – the authority on Corvette restoration and judging. There are also several folders of receipts for parts. from quality Corvette part houses such as Eckler’s and Long Island Corvette Supply. This is a serious car for a serious collector.

All that aside. today in 2014. the Corvette looks just as good as it did when it was completed. Everything works as it should – including the air conditioning and the electric pop-up headlights. The underside is so clean you could practically eat off of it. The interior shows no sign of excessive wear. We mean it when we say that this is the nicest Corvette in the showroom.

The owners of this car decided. after its days on the show circuit were over. to pull the original 327/300 HP engine for preservation. In its place. they installed a period-correct 327/365. The new owner of this car will receive both.
