If you were to walk into your local Cadillac dealership in 1984 or 1985. this is the quality of 'demonstrator" or "Certified Pre-owned Cadillac" you would have found.   Virtually without wear and worthy of Cadillac's highest distinction of certification. this 1984 Eldorado is. without question. the nicest of its kind and is likely one of the lowest mileage examples you will find anywhere on earth.
 
Finished in the extremely rare and coveted Autumn Maple Firemist over white leather. this car is as crisp and as new as it was the day it rolled off the GM assembly plant in Detroit. Michigan.   Its original snow white top virtually sparkles and the leather is as soft and supple (never dyed) as when it was new.
 
This car was originally purchased by a collector and was only used to be driven to local shows and contests.   It has never been driven in inclement weather and has always been properly stored and covered in a heated and air-conditioned garage.
 
Virtually every electronic component and feature operates flawlessly and properly.   From the cruise control to the power antenna. to the electronic air conditioning system. windows and seat functions. this car is simply: new.
 
The paint is absolutely without imperfection and is 100% original.   It has never been touched since original GM production and shows perfectly. without even the slightest road chip or fading.   The hand applied pinstripes are as new and even the original bumper fillers are in exceptional condition (an utter rarity).
 
The fiber optics on the front end are crisp and clear. and all the light and directional bezels gleam as new and are crystal clear.   The engine compartment is not soiled with the horrible shiny goop and spray paint that many collectors try to pass off as original.   The engine bay is simply white-glove clean and preserved to day one standards.
 
But just wait until you see the under-carriage. You've heard the expression. "the bottom looks as nice as the top.   But in this instance it is absolutely true.   The brass brake springs shine like new and the authentic and original GM exhaust system and fittings are indisputable proof that this car has never seen an element other than pure oxygen.   The entire under-carriage is perfectly preserved and is a marvel to behold.
 
It is currently fitted with custom made Dayton spoke wheels with custom Cadillac centers; and the original wheels and factory spoke wheel covers are bagged and will also accompany the car.   Additionally. the original and perfectly functioning factory radio was cleverly replaced by a correct Cadillac stereo from the early 90's that is barely distinguishable from the original. but allows you to play your favorite CD's.   But never fear. I have the original radio and it too. will accompany the car.
 
Virtually all the books and delivery material which accompanied the car when new will also be included. including all four 'Gold Keys" in their factory pouch.
To put it succinctly. this is a one-of-a-kind car that will never be duplicated and can never be replaced.   It is the last of the venerated Cadillac Eldorado convertibles. which most collectors agree is among GM's most beautiful creations and will never happen again.   The price has been established in consideration of the fact that it is a rapidly appreciating asset that is without peer among modern collectors and is a car that. in years to come. is sure to stand alongside the $250. 00 - $300. 00 Eldorado convertible's of the late 1950's and 1960.
