Vehicle Details

Up for sale is a beautiful one family owned from new 1978 GMC Jimmy 4X4 High Siera. This Little Jimmy, as you can see by the pictures, has been Gurage kept all its life and has been very well maintained. A gift to his daughter when the dad was getting older, so it stayed in the family. know it is time for a new home after 44 years. This Jimmy came from the factory with almost every option. Power Steering, Power Brakes, Cruise Control, Power windows, Tilt steering Columb, All Weather Airconditioning, Power Door Locks, In dash Clock, Auxiliary Seat, Folding rear seat, Intermittent Wipers, 31-gal Fuel Tank, 400 Engine with dual exhaust, 350 Turbo Transmission, Full Time 4-wheel drive, High Siera Equipment, White Removable hard Top, Mariner Blue / White two-tone Paint, Exterior Decor Package, and more. The body is very Stright, and paint is nice, but about 10 years ago a new GM factory left front fender was installed as it has some minor damage and the owner wanted it to be perfect. At the same time the blue color all around the Jimmy was repainted. I did see a small bubble in the paint on the passenger side just behind the door handle on the body (hard to see in the pictures) and the stripes on the hood are looking a little worn, other than that, it is nice. I could not find any rust at all. The underside of the Jimmy is clean and no signs of rust their ether. The interior is also very nice and mostly original, but the original factory High Back seats have had new cloth inserts installed. The carpeting is good, but it does have a worn spot on the driver's side where the gas pealed is. (Please look at the pictures closely) The drive train is in very good condition as the owner's, own an Auto Repair shop and if the Jimmy ever needed anything it was done at their shop. (Very well maintained) It is running its original 400 engine, but the 350-turbo transmission has been rebuilt by reputable transmission shop. This Jimmy has a receiver hitch for towing and an electric Brack actuator mounted under the dash. The miles on the speedometer read 40,036 but the owner think it is 140,036. If you have questions, I will take them to the owners. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading and in any way we can.
