Seller's Notes

I dented the van above the right portion of the windshield in 2016. Although the dent didn't affect the windshield my insurance carrier totaled the vehicle. I obtained a rebuilt title and have driven it without incident since then. The engine runs well and have ran it on Shell synthetic oil changed every 10-12 K miles. The van has an intermittent no start about 5% of the time. I have had the engine control module tested by a garage and when they put my control module in another Sprinter it always started. Successful bidder/buyer will post 1/2 the purchase price with the Seller within 2 days and the rest is due in cash at the the time the vehicle is picked up. Vehicle must be picked up from the seller no later than one week from the accepted bid.

Vehicle Details

My 2005 Freightliner Sprinter 2.7 liter diesel cargo van has been configured with a sleeping platform and 6 drawer dresser for storage. It has a solar electric system that powers a Dometic chest style refrigerator-freezer. I travelled the southwest in it for 4 years and was safe and comfortable and really enjoyed this van. 6 feet 4 inches of headroom in the living area. Has been my daily driver the last 2 1/2 years. This vehicle has a Mercedes engine and parts but was assembled by Freightliner so it is described as a Freightliner Sprinter. It has a Tommy Gate 1 ton lift gate in the rear that helped me offload my gear and served as a table for outside meals. Can be sold without the refrigerator/freezer if you choose.
