This new design offered both left-hand-drive and an independent front suspension for the first time. They also included smaller. more tire-friendly 15” wheels and a wheel track that was 5 inches wider promising better road handling!

This beautiful 1951 MG TD Roadster comes finished in British Racing Green over all new Green hides and Black folding soft top. its original. number's matching 1250cc XPAG straight 4 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. it produces a modest 55 horsepower at 5200 rpm. Features include stunning leather covered dash. original banjo steering wheel. correct Jaeger gauges and Lucas amp meter. electric wipers. King of the Road fender lights. 15” disc wheels with polished chrome center caps. Vredstein Sprint Classic tires. Bell Fabrication stainless steel exhaust with chrome tip. a complete vinyl top set with side curtains. and tan canvass boot cover.

It showcases a very well maintained restoration completed in December of 2006 that still offers excellent drive characteristics! The restoration began in November of 2005 with a complete media blasted chassis. bare body. and an open check book! Any of the original wood was professional replaced with correct pieces supplied from Little British Car Company located in Farmington Hills. Michigan. The body was prepped and painted. as well as the chassis before full reassembly with new mounting hardware throughout. All suspension components. fuel delivery equipment. wiring. exhaust system. along with the complete driveline. were all properly overhauled. The engine was bored . 080 and honed. fitted with new pistons & rings. resurfaced lifters. all new main bearings. rod bearings. timing set. valve job with new intake and exhaust valves. new starter. rebuilt generator. and all new gaskets! The transmission was rebuilt and received a new 7. 25” clutch. Too many parts to list entirely. but all receipts are included. Nothing on this car has been altered from original right down to the correct Tecalemit canister style oil filter. Lucas generator charging system with positive ground. cloth-covered wiring. brass fuel lines. intake system with SU carburetors & brass caps. air cleaner assembly. radiator with brass cap (boiled and resealed). and more!

All body and engine tags are clearly present and unaltered making this original example a genuine driver investment!
