1982 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit SWB.

I prepared this car for my wife and I but the Covid pandemic took a toll on our income. I'm pained having to selling my Rolls but she has to go.

The seat bottoms where a bit dried out and reupholstered with original RR Connely Hide. Done at  North Hollywood Upholstery. 

Tires are fresh, about 1200 miles of use. 

Paint was fairly good but I opted to have it repainted in December of 2020 when things were good.. This Rolls Royce is absolutely gorgeous. 

The back story: 

I Purchased the car from my good friend Franco of  Franco's European 3 years ago (Exotic car specialists in Sherman Oaks Ca.).The Rolls was serviced by Franco since new.
The Spirit, was in need of engine repair and ended up  in storage as the owner could no longer drive.

The original owner and close friend of Franco's fell ill and passed away.The family gave the rolls to Franco. Sadly Franco also passed away 4 months ago and turned the shop over to his son  Damian.

The car had a defective connecting rod.  We replace the crankshaft and connecting rod on cylinder #5, The remaining rods are in perfect condition. Main and rod bearings, seals and gaskets, fresh piston rings , gaskets, re-seated the cylinder head valves with new valve seals. Engine is in  perfect condition - The compression  tests at  155 psi +- 3 psi. S

The distributor has an upgraded electronic ignition. New spark plugs.

CIS injection has been service at Beverly Laurel Mercedes ( CIS injection special) 

Transmission serviced.

Cooling system serviced.

Hydraulic system  has been serviced. Suspension is very good. 

Steering is tight and responsive. 

Brakes pads and rotors are very good.

NOTE: The door sills need to be refinished. See images
The wood on dash is (petina) facia is checked, Pretty common
The left outer fin on the grill is slightly bent Grill fins are available here on Ebay. 

Someone is going to love this wonderful example of an early short wheelbase RR Spirit.
