This is a 1979 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow II. This has a 6. 7 Litre engine with an automatic gearbox.

The Rolls has covered only 72. 53 miles and has full service history (Mainly Rolls Royce – see further in description for details).

The Rolls was purchased from Jack Barclay Ltd (A Rolls Royce dealership in London) on 17th March 1979.  

The Dealership is still going and have been since 1927.

As you can see from the larger photos below. the Rolls Royce in in very good condition for its year. It is finished in metallic green (Silver Larch).

The bodywork is excellent. There is a small bit of lacquer peel on the rear quarter as shown in one of the photos. /span>

other than this the paintwork and bodywork are in great condition.

It has chromes trims around the windows. all the headlight surrounds and handles are chrome. All the chrome is in excellent condition.

The badge bar is an upgrade and has a receipt for the fitting of it. The Headlight washers are also an optional upgrade on purchase.

The bumpers are rubber with chrome tips. The wheels are chrome all with the original Rolls Royce centre caps and bodywork coloured outers.

The tyres are all good and have white stripes on the walls.

 The interior is also in great condition. The interior has full beige leather seats and beige carpets.

The seats and leather are all in good condition and are free from rips or tears. The dashboard has walnut trim and is also in excellent condition.

The beige carpets have been removed to photograph the foot-well areas that need attention. A common fault with Rolls Royce Shadow 2's is that the front footwell areas suffer from corrosion.  New metal foot-well plates can be bought as replacement's to be welded in. As you can see from the pictures. both sides require doing. The passenger side is the worst area.

 The boot floor has been photographed to show it is solid. The carpets have been cleaned whilst they were taken out.

The Rolls starts first time and drives like a dream. The gearbox is fine and changes gear fine.

The Rolls has been looked after very well over the years and comes with lots of receipt's and bills for work done and servicing. I have pictured a few of them with the service stamp photos.

The service book has 21 stamps in it. Most of these are Rolls Royce. The last service shown in the book is at 63. 61 miles.

This was a major service and the receipt is shown in the photos.

The Rolls has not been used much over the last few years and been kept garaged. The last MOT expired in July 2012.

The Silver Shadow comes with all the receipts and service bills. old mots. the original Rolls Royce Handbook. Service Guide. Service Book. V5 and two sets of keys.

Collections are possible on Monday - Friday 9am – 4pm and Saturday 9am – 12 noon. Please call first to arrange as we are not here at all times.

DELIVERY AVAILABLE

Delivery can be arranged by a third party company we use. This can be calculated using google maps and finding the distance from HG3 2BA to your address. The charge is £2. 50 per mile with a minimum delivery charge of £50. This includes return trip. fuel and drivers wages. Note: The vehicle and delivery charge have to be paid via bank transfer before delivery.
