This is a super nice 65 Impala, same owner for 25 years, done in a very nice Burgundy Aztec base coat clear coat with black vinyl top, new tinted windshield; all other glass is factory original tint in very good condition, all window and upper door stainless are in excellent condition, vinyl top moldings are in excellent condition; at time of restoration vinyl top was replaced and in excellent condition, new weather stripping and window felts, correct bow tie side view mirrors, original door handles in very good condition, original hood moldings in excellent condition, original grill, grill moldings and head light bezels are all in excellent condition, re-chromed front bumper and bumperettes, new fender emblems, wheel well and rocker moldings look like new, original tail light housings in excellent condition, all new lens, new tail panel moldings, re-chromed rear bumper and bumper guards.
Factory black bucket seat console interior, original dash in excellent condition, original dash pad - no cracks, retro-fit AM/FM/Cassette stereo with front and rear speakers, tach nicely mounted to column and trio of gauges under dash, original steering wheel - no cracks, new headliner, all chrome garnish trim in excellent condition, new package shelf, front and rear door panels look like new, new arm rest, new front and rear seat covers; as well as foam, front seat belts, original center console in excellent condition, new carpet with floor mats, original sill plates.
Under the hood the original motor has been replaced with a rebuilt 350, Edelbrock cam, aluminum intake, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb, chrome valve covers and breather, nicely updated with electronic ignition, heavy duty Harrison radiator with correct shroud and 7 blade clutch fan, power steering, set of Hooker ceramic coated headers into 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust out the back in stock location, this strong running 350 is backed up with a 350 turbo trans, power front disc brakes, front suspension has been completely gone through, updated with 1 1/8 sway bar - for better handling, rear suspension has been gone through - new bushings, shocks, also updated with SS Forth control arms, 10 bolt limited slip rear.
Rides on a set of "REV" Classics 15x7 with 225/70/15 all around.
Factory jack and spare, custom upholstered trunk, car cover, custom cup holder - that is designed to fit over console and folder full of receipts.
