1964 Pontiac Catalina Sport Coupe hardtop with 39,000 original miles! A true survivor!! Believed to be a 2-owner car and has been in the same family for over 20 years. Always garage kept and never abused.

The body is in fantastic condition and shows no replacement of floors, body panels, or glass. The car has had one exterior repaint, but the door jams and trunk floor are all in the original Cameo Ivory white. No bubbling or rust coming through.

The exterior chrome and stainless are in excellent condition and show no pitting or dents.

Exterior lights, turn signals, back up lights, and wipers all function normally. The only exterior imperfections (see photo) are on the trunk lid and left rear fender when a couple of items fell off a shelf in the garage several years ago.

The interior is original and in fantastic condition. There are no tears or broken seams in the vinyl upholstery. The carpeting is in great shape too as well as the headliner. All the gauges work as well as the heater and defroster. The radio does turn on but no sound. Current owner neatly added the AM/FM/CD player and speakers mounted under the dash. Even the dome light works.

The engine is the original 389 c.i. / 235 h.p. Pontiac V-8 with a recent rebuild of the Rochester two-barrel carburetor. It has never been apart, and the Catalina shows no evidence of consuming or burning oil. The dual exhaust with the Flowmaster mufflers was added for effect several years ago. There is a slight leak of anti-freeze at the petcock of the radiator, but as you can see normal maintenance of hoses, belts, battery, brakes, and fuel pump have been done over the years. Some documentation of the work performed is included.

The suspension is stock with recent shock absorbers being replaced.  Power steering works great as well as the 11" factory drum brakes.  The Catalina rides on 15" Goodyear radial tires.

The transmission is the stock 3-speed Roto Hydramatic automatic, and it shifts through the gears without any issues. It has recently developed a leak which is believed to be the rear seal.

Since the Pontiac has been in the family it has only been used for shows, parades, and special events. It is fun to drive and draws attention everywhere.
