This auto was the cover car on Collectible Automobile Magazine in June 2003 along with being the feature article. It has mostly been a California car and was acquired from the Henderson Farm trust (estate purchase).



It is highly optioned including rare factory air conditioning. power steering. power brakes. power windows. power seat. signal seeking Town & Country radio. correct chrome fender skirts. dual exhaust chrome extensions. fender mounted spotlight with integrated rear view mirror. padded dash and more.



This is a beautiful example of a total frame off. nut-bolt expensive complete restoration. The undercarriage. including exhaust system. is as new and immaculate as when the car was built 54 years ago. Further updated restoration performed by Jerry Miller. Springdale. Arkansas.



This is one of the finest examples in existence. having been driven only 12. 00 since new. according to the current owner. (no documents to prove this)

Ford introduced the Galaxie in 1959 in the midst of the space race era. The Galaxie was the company's top-of-the-line offering and featured a V-8 engine. an abundance of chrome. updated trim and Thunderbird-inspired design elements.


The Skyliner retractable was available for 3 years only 1957 through 1959.
































Everything about this car is exceptional. We do not know who did the restoration originally. but they did an outstanding job.















The Skyliner Retractable Top Convertible was introduced in 1957 as a companion model to Ford's conventional Sunliner convertible. The Skyliner was the first mass-produced car of its kind and was considered an engineering marvel. At the push of a button. the steel hardtop completely dropped into the trunk and the remarkable  sequence of events (driven by 600 feet of wiring. 10 power relays. eight circuit breakers. 10 limit switched and three drive motors) amazed every onlooker and spectator.





Pioneering a design that wasn't utilized again until the 2006. the Skyliner was first to use a retractable hard roof.



The engine compartment interior and exterior are flawless.   The new owner of this car will be very pleased. because it rides and drives as you would expect of an extremely low mileage car.  



The engine compartment is as it looked the day it left the dealers showroom.







The undercarriage is as nice as the rest of this beautiful 59.

We are a licensed Texas dealership. It is required that we collect all tax. title and license fees from Texas residents at the time of the sale. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30. 00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of . 002259% and a small documentary fee of $75. 00 on ALL sales.
