We get a lot of these clean mid-80s Chevy pickups, and they're always pleasant, clean machines. But every so often, one like this 1985 Chevrolet C10 Scottsdale shows up and smacks us around a bit. This one is every bit as clean and functional as the others, but it sports a gorgeous bright red paint job that's far better than stock, a smooth-running 5.0L V8 mated to an overdrive automatic transmission, and a comfortable interior loaded with good options. Way cleaner than the rest, this is one dialed-in Square Body pickup.

While we tend to overlook trucks in our everyday life, this striking C10 looks downright spectacular in its sleek Candy Apple Red livery that was applied not long ago. Maybe it's the way the smoke-tinted windows make it look a bit sinister, or how the lights bounce off the deep, lustrous finish, or maybe how the raked stance on those shiny wheels gives it great curb appeal – regardless, it all seems aggressive and clean at once. It's fairly obvious that this one has been personal transportation since it was new (and its clean, accident-free vehicle history report backs up that claim), especially as a regular cab/short bed model, and most of its hauling was probably limited to a large trophy or two and helping friends move. As a result, its bodywork is clean, smooth, and straight, with a great shine to the buffed-out finish that really pops in person. It's not a perfect show truck, but rather a very strong driver-quality rig with minimal imperfections to speak of, and wow does it look dialed-in when it's bombing down the road! Of course, things like the clean stock grille and hood certainly help, not to mention those bright American Racing wheels this beauty rides on. There's not a ton of trim to speak of, with the bright wheel arch moldings and fender badges leading the way in that department, but we think that's a very good thing because the red paint can do most of the talking. A bright chrome bumper enhances the stock look up front, the big step-bumper out back is heavy-duty spec, and the inside of the bed was professionally coated in a black spray-in bed liner just in case you still want to use it as a truck on occasion.

Open the doors to reveal the comfy cabin that's been neatly preserved and restored through the years, with both comfort and style in mind. The stock bench seat was redone with factory style burgundy vinyl upholstery that was punctuated with vertical pleats, there are plush red carpets underneath (protected with black floormats), and the bright red dash pad and burgundy door panels look great. Options like factory A/C , a tilt steering column, electronic cruise control, and power windows and locks make it a pleasure to drive even when you're not using that small block V8 to its full potential. The original steering wheel is still in place at the helm of the cockpit, and with a column shifter and power steering, it's a joy to handle. Better yet, the factory gauges are crystal clear with bright, easily legible markings and because they're all operable there was no need to install any non-matching aftermarket units under the dash. The result is a super-clean and stock look, with the only deviation being the aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette stereo in the center of the dash.

The great thing about vintage trucks is that the best of them come with V8 engines; in this truck's case, it's still running its original, numbers-matching 305 cubic inch V8, aka the 5.0L small block Chevy. Looking completely stock, it runs very well, delivering smooth power and torque without a hiccup thanks to the low miles on the clock. Most of the original components were retained, including the black air cleaner, accessories, and even the original stamped steel valve covers and air snorkel are still intact. All the original wiring remains in great condition, and with fresh-looking belts, hoses, plugs, wires, and other components, this Square Body is running at its best. The 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission still offers crisp shifts up and down the throttle, and it spins a 10-bolt rear end with highway-friendly standard gears inside that are perfect for the highway. A quick-look underneath shows off the benefits of an easy life mostly spent between sunny Florida and Texas, and the exhaust system has been upgraded to a true-dual unit with Flowmaster mufflers that sound great. It sits on flashy American Racing wheels with trim rings that are all wrapped in rugged 275/60/15 Firestone radials with plenty of tread left.

Nice truck? Absolutely. But if you're looking for something a little beyond merely "nice" then this C10 is what you've been looking for. Call today!

General Terms

Terms & Conditions

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we're happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).

FEES: A documentation fee of $299 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state's taxes, transfer, or additional fees.

AVAILABILITY: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment's notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

CONTACT: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.

INSPECTION: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it's important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.

PAYMENT: We require a non-refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours of winning or commitment to purchase. Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears). We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers. SHIPPING: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.

DRIVE IT HOME: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.

DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.

VIN VERIFICATION: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle's current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.

MILEAGES: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.

CONDITION: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Finally, be advised that although our sales associates are here to assist you with your purchase, they are not trained or certified vehicle inspectors.

AS-IS: All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied. If you choose to waive inspection, do plan to have a detailed and transparent conversation with us regarding the vehicle's condition. Ask the hard questions up front. Please just call us, we are here to help and welcome all your questions!

We cannot be responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained in information provided by the consignor/seller of the vehicle.
