If you've been planning on building an old Chevy pickup, you should probably save yourself the usual aggravation and just buy this one instead. Featuring a 1954 Chevrolet 3100 5-Window cab, an awesome color combination, a powerful 5.7L V8, and some choice luxury options, it's exactly the way you'd do it for about half the price of building your own. What's holding you back?

The Advance Design pickups are probably even more popular today than when they were new, and with the market's new-found interest in vintage haulers the last decade, they're getting harder to find by the day. The best ones preserve all that's great about the original design and simply tweak a few design cues and update the hardware underneath, and they totally nailed it with this one. The matte black paint keeps it looking simple, as if it could still head out into the back 40 and get the job done, and I think that's a big part of the appeal. Finish quality is quite good overall, with a clean bodywork and paint that is about right for a commercial vehicle. It's all steel, no fiberglass reproduction parts here, and the fit of the various pieces and parts is quite good and it definitely has a killer street presence. Keeping the horizontal chrome grille was a great call, giving this truck an old-fashioned look that's even more appealing than the color-matched grilles some of the cheaper trucks on the market, and we absolutely love that the builders left the chrome bumpers fore and aft. All that chrome isn't cheap, and it shows off a dedication to build a high-quality, good-looking hauler. The warm, rustic-looking wooden bed is surrounded by black walls and held down with black rub strips for a cool look, the gas tank was relocated back there too, and the tailgate is held up by chrome chains. The clear headlights and running lights are fresh, while out back the taillights are old-school hotrod style, installed just above the bright rear bumper and dual exhaust exits.

Tan vinyl is always a great choice inside a black vehicle, and the handsomely appointed interior of this pickup is light years ahead of where it was originally. That might be the factory bench seat, but it's definitely wearing a newer seat cover that uses pleats for a proper period look and black piping that sets just the right contrast, and the matching door panels at the flanks tie it all together and help soften the interior a bit from the original steel pieces. The carpets are plush and keep the elements at bay inside the cab, while the dash was painted matte black to match the exterior. Custom gauges from Dolphin fit into the original holes in the stock dash, so no cutting was required to get that trick look and a chrome three-spoke steering wheel with a thick black rim is a comfortable amenity for the driver. A modern A/C system was discreetly tucked under the dash and painted black to match, although at the moment it's only blowing out of the defrost vents so it could use a little attention. An upgraded tilt column was smartly installed to give the driver a little more room behind the wheel, and the options list rounds out with a fresh, retro-style AM/FM stereo nestled in the center of the dash. It's not over-restored or fully luxurious, but it's very comfortable and features an upgraded look and feel to this 5-window, making this the kind of truck you're going to have a hard time resisting on the next sunny day.

A later-model 5.7L V8 slots right into the old truck's engine bay, giving it a far more useful powerband for today's traffic than the original powerplant. Topped by a big Holley 4-barrel carburetor atop an Edelbrock aluminum intake, the engine breathes easy, and an upgraded alternator and ignition system ensures that the block cranks with ease every time out. Augmented with a modern belt system that drives accessories like the power steering and power front disc brakes, this truck really drives like a dream and is ready for modern roads, and a thick aluminum radiator with a big electric fan keeps the whole show nice and cool. Custom A-arms and a power rack-and-pinion system means this truck is ready for the modern road, and a 700R4 4-speed automatic spins a heavy-duty 10-bolt rear end, which is an easy fit in the back of this vintage pickup. Stock-style exhaust manifolds feed a custom dual exhaust system with throaty Magnaflow mufflers was recently installed and the entire undercarriage is very tidy. Obviously, the stance was modified a bit, and it really hunkers down over those black steel wheels adorned with chrome Baby Moons and beauty rings, all of which are wrapped in 225/75/15 thick whitewall radials.

General Terms

Terms & Conditions

We recognize the need for complete transparency when buying/selling vehicles on eBay. That said, we did not build, modify, or have the luxury of personal ownership that would give us the advantage of knowing all unknown aspects of each vehicle. Transparency is king and we're happy to try and answer ALL questions our customers might have prior to purchasing. Additionally, we welcome and encourage independent inspections (see Inspection statement below).

FEES: A documentation fee of $299 will be added to the purchase price at the time of sale. Sale price does not include any Title, License, Registration, State or Local Taxes or Processing Fees. We recommend you familiarize yourself with your individual state's taxes, transfer, or additional fees.

AVAILABILITY: Please inquire prior to purchase to assure any advertised vehicle is not already sold. We advertise across multiple platforms where a vehicle can sell in a moment's notice. Vehicles may be sold prior to eBay listing end, and we reserve the right to end listings early or to cancel bids/offers solely at our discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

CONTACT: Note that you may hear from us after to the sale, but if you are a winning bidder, click a Buy-It-Now, or we accept your eBay Offer, it is your responsibility to contact us within 24 hours.

INSPECTION: VERY IMPORTANT. If a buyer chooses to buy sight unseen (many of our buyers choose this option) the buyer accepts the vehicle AS-IS and understands we cannot address concerns post sale. For this reason, it's important all concerns are addressed prior to purchase. We make every effort to present accurate and reliable information, but use of this information is voluntary, and should only be deemed reliable after an independent review of its accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. It is the sole responsibility of the customer/buyer to verify the existence of options, accessories and the vehicle condition before time of sale.

PAYMENT: We require a non-refundable $500 deposit within 48 hours of winning or commitment to purchase. Full payment is required within 7 days of offer acceptance unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing. If deposit and/or full payment are not provided within said timeframe, all vehicles will be relisted and transaction will be considered void. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier's check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears). We also offer vehicle financing, please inquire for details prior to making bids/offers. SHIPPING: We have access to a network of private and commercial carriers. Most of them can deliver the vehicle to your driveway and upon your schedule. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper's custody. Buyers are welcomed to trailer vehicles home and we are happy to have everything ready to see you off with your new vehicle.

DRIVE IT HOME: If you plan to buy and drive home, please keep some things in mind. Anything is possible when it comes to a vehicle, especially a classic or antique one. We recommend transporting all vehicles to your home first, then driving it locally. Get to know the vehicle and its tendencies before embarking on a long-distance trip. If you choose to drive your new vehicle home, buyer accepts all responsibility as we are unable to control what may take place once it leaves our facility.

DOCUMENTS & VEHICLE TITLE: All purchase documents are sent immediately upon purchase. To avoid delays, we recommend returning any required documents within 24 hours of receipt. Please allow up to 30 days for vehicle titles. Usually titles are available sooner, we ask for the extra time in the event there are unforeseen circumstances.

VIN VERIFICATION: We photograph the primary VIN location of every vehicle and make sure that VIN exactly matches the vehicle's current title. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless from any disputes arising from other hidden or secondary VINs present on the vehicle as seller only verifies the primary VIN location. If needed, it is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify secondary VIN locations their specific state may inspect, prior to purchase.

MILEAGES: Occasionally our vehicles may be driven or simply moved around our facilities. Slight differences may occur so we recommend you confirm actual and current miles prior to purchase.

CONDITION: We cover the obvious and do our best to describe our vehicles in detail. Even so, please have a transparent conversation with us before purchasing. Do be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage, or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. Finally, be advised that although our sales associates are here to assist you with your purchase, they are not trained or certified vehicle inspectors.

AS-IS: All vehicles are sold "AS IS" and with no warranties expressed or implied. If you choose to waive inspection, do plan to have a detailed and transparent conversation with us regarding the vehicle's condition. Ask the hard questions up front. Please just call us, we are here to help and welcome all your questions!

Information is provided to the best of our knowledge and we make no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy, truth, or reliability of such information. We cannot be responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies contained in information provided by the consignor/seller of the vehicle.
