Only 30 miles since a ground up, high quality build. It was just finished a few months ago. It doesn't just talk the talk...this car will walk the walk. It is bad to the bone!

EXTERIOR: This car looks tough. It sits proud, cool set of tires/wheels and a massive scooped hood. The body is amazing. Laser straight, excellent gaps, no damage, no blisters. The doors shut like a new car. The fiberglass hood has an excellent fit. The gold metallic paint is laid out evenly and the clear coat is polished like glass. It even feels slick. The jambs are slick, weather strips and sill plates were replaced. The bumpers are rechromed. Marker lights, door handles and mirror were replaced. The vinyl top is very good. Glass is very good, windshield was replaced. New 15 inch chrome Cragars. The rear wheel wells were tubbed for the extra wide rear tires. It has Mickey Thompson Street slicks in back with old school skinny bias plays in front. The tires still have the nubs on the tread.

INTERIOR: Inside the car is all restored very nicely. It does have a 6 point roll bar that does not interfere with the back seat. There are G-Force lap and shoulder for each front seat. The carpet is new and there's a Cheeta shifter on the hump. New cushions in the front seats, new upholstery front and back. The door panels, armrests and handles look new. Kick panels are missing. The headliner was replaced. New dash pad, the bezels, lenses, heater controls are clean. Wood rim deluxe steering wheel on a Flaming River column. Pro Comp Tachometer with shift light and a matching set of fluid filled gauges.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There is a wow factor when that hood is lifted. It looks immaculate and intimidating. Pro built motor by Merkle Racing Engines. We have a detailed invoice totaling $11,174. A 440 was bored and stroked to a 505. It was balanced and Dyno tested at 640 hp. The block and crank were magna fluxed. It has Eagle rotating assembly, Mopar 590 flat tappet cam and chrome moly push rods. Aluminum Trick Flow heads and intake, the heads were C&C ported. It also has a huge 950 Holley carb with premium fittings and lines. MSD Pro Billet distributor and ignition system. The headers are wild- custom made and they twist right through the inner fenders and are polished ceramic coated. headers. New steering box. Dressed up with Mopar valve covers and air cleaner. It runs cool with an aluminum water pump, BeCool radiator with dual electric fans and an overflow bottle. New dual reservoir master cylinder and Hurst line lock. The engine bay is perfectly clean metal painted just as slick as the outside of the car. Everything under the hood looks new- the wiper motor, spark plug wires, pulleys, wiring harness etc.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Completely clean trunk floor. I don't see any patches. It is painted gold. The battery is relocated to the trunk and is bolted down and has a disconnect switch. Weatherstrip and seat divider were replaced.

UNDERSIDE: Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity Moroso oil pan and high torque starter. The 727 Torqueflite auto was performance built by FB Performance Transmissions. It has a reverse valve body, 4,000 stall and a Freddy Brown 9 inch converter. Rebuilt drive shaft with a safety loop. Rebuilt H.D. Dana 60 rear with Strange axles and 4.10 posi. Mean sounding 3 inch exhaust with stainless MagnaFlow mufflers. Custom brakes system with disc at all 4 wheels. Rock solid floors. It has welded in frame connectors to prevent body twist. Front end looks entirely brand new- the spindles, hardware, steering components, bushings etc. Upgraded QA-1 control arms. In back the leaf springs were relocated. New springs, shackles, bushings, U bolts and shocks. New fuel tank straps, an external electric fuel pump and braided high pressure lines. The floors look solid, has welded in frame connectors to prevent body twist.

This car has everyone talking here. The quality and the cool factor are high on this one. Being such a fresh build it still looks new. A folder of documentation is included. Someone is going to have a lot of fun with this one. Show and a whole lotta go!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.

About Volo Auto Museum

No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum.  Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960.  We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos.  For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion.  Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.

Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful.  We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after.  Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift.  No reasonable request will be turned down.

Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn't have to be.  After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you.  We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else's.   Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner.  This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own.  We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn't sell, we lose, not you.  So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
