This is an amazing original 1930 Chevrolet 2 door coach. This car is an original Florida car found at an old estate in Coral Gables. The car sat in an old 1930s exterior concrete garage for nearly 50 years untouched. The original owners son replaced the brown mohair interior and repainted the car in the late 70s. The property and car were sold at an estate sale. We got the car running and drove it a little, but she need some work and we went through the brakes, replaced one axle, rebuilt the 3 speed transmission, new clutch, throw out bearing, removed the engine and freshened it up with new seals,Cleaned the water passages, machined the original head and replaced the head gasket and swapped original oil pump for a high volume oil pump. (Original pump worked but only pushed 11psi as it originally did from factory. The original pumps were known to be inadequate -original goes in box with car). The drive train had never been removed until we did it. We replaced the leather motor mounts and we replaced the wiring with high quality reproduction cloth wiring like original had and had the radiator was professionally redone. We restored/rebuilt the original 6 volt generator, starter, water pump and updraft carb. Spark plains are nos originals as is coil and the spark plug wires correct reproductions. The exhaust was replaced with new pipes and period correct muffler. This car has no wood rot or termite damage as most have. The paint is old and not perfect, there are scratches, crazing, orange peel in the paint. The running board rubber is old and not perfect. The mohair interior is nice and all the gauges work to include the speedometer and odometer. The gas guage works but is not accurate. This car came with the disk wheels shown, but I have a set of original wire wheels that go with the car since they came with the original sale. The tires are old but hold air. I have driven on them quite a bit and they seem fine. I recently replaced the stop light switch with an nos unit and found the coveted Viking radiator cap accessory (comes with car). The front roll up window was rebuilt and works perfect. All glass appears to be original and is good. The side windows roll up and down except one rear window. Most amazing is this car has its original pop out ignition lock and original keys. They function and work perfectly. I have two original Chevrolet keys with this car. This car has its original cowl tag, trim tag on the original wood floor and amazingly the serial number of the car is still there on the original wood floor by the 3 speed shifter stamped during its build. Transmission and engine are original to the car as the date codes line up and the engine serial number is on the title. The mileage is original. When we got the car it had been unregistered for so long we needed to do a little work to get her registered and for another Florida title issued. We had the original 1930 Florida title but unfortunately it was surrendered to obtain the new title. Car is currently in an air conditioned garage in Fort Lauderdale with a clear Florida title with original 78,280 miles as stated. The car had its original 1930 front booster plate and original 1930 Florida license plate. Those go with the car for Florida buyer only. The Miami metal topper does not convey with the car. This car runs and drives but needs a few things. I have the original manual, some papers and service bulletins. It needs the following;High beam switch for floor-original is bad-easy, the clutch needs to be adjusted, one of the two rear window needs to removed and regulator repaired  so that it can be rolled down, the front set adjuster handle is broke but comes with an original to be restored, original wiper motor does not work. Period correct aftermarket heater is under the dash. It doesn't work but you probably won't need it anyway. Heater looks fine and comes with original period switch that mounts under the dash. We have the horn that came with car, but it used a later horn relay from 1940s. We removed it since it was not correct. It does come with the car if you wanted to remount. Inner door handles are off. I have them, comes with car.The car has it original spare tire and original accessory Chevrolet spare tire lock and numbered key. As a condition of sale this car must be registered and titled in your state. If your state does not issue titles, I can not sell the car to you. I am trying to preserve the car and states that don't issue titles is just wrong. It is tangible property and should be titled. As stated, this car has a clear Florida title with 78,280 actual miles on the title.I have a lot of money and time in this car. It doesn't need too much to be really super. I have this 1930 listed for sale and a 1935 3 Window Coupe in another listing.  Please serious only and don't contact me after auction has ended.
