This is an unrestored 1978 Subaru Brat with mostly original paint and interior.  The car starts, runs and drives, but expect a project car as it has not been restored.  The frame is rust free and this would make a great base for restoration!   Take a look at my video and test ride video and call me with questions. 949 2 8 5 -8 0 1 1 Exterior wise, the truck has mostly original paint with exception of the front left fender which has been touched up. Has a few small dents and paint chips as well. This is original 48 year old unrestored paint and body here.  Has the original shell and key for the window, rear seats did not come with the car and are not included.   Spare tire normally goes over the engine but it is sitting in bed for better view of the engine.   Jack and accessories are intact.  Take a look at the video above the write up for a detailed walk around condition report. The interior is all original with exception of the CB Radio. Seats in good original shape with wear on driver side outside bolsters. Passenger side is clean with no rips or tears. Dash in good shape with 2 small cracks. Has original radio.   Turn signal stock is broken.  Original carpeting showing its age but still useable. Headliner in good shape. Both door panels look excellent and both doors lock with key and windows both roll up and down. Has AC which does not work as far as I can tell. No bad smells to worry about. Comes with 2 keys and owners manuals. Mechanically, the car runs and drives as shown in the video above. Engine takes a little time to warm up but seems to run ok after choke closes. Carburetor appears to have been rebuilt previous to my ownership. This is not a drive to New York from California car. Should be transported on a truck to your location. It's been off the road since 1983 so bear this in mind.  Odometer shows 71k miles and this may be the original mileage.    The transmission shifts well as shown in the video.
