1985 TVR 280i in excellent. original condition.   This is a fine. low miles example of 'the wedge'.   A front. mid-engine car that was powered by Ford's Cologne V-6 2. 8 Litre Engine.   The car rides and drives remarkably well on my usual route from Fayetteville. Arkansas through the winding roads of the Ozark Mountains and up to a place out on Beaver Lake.   It's about a 70 mile round trip and I have added a thousand or so miles to the car since I bought it a couple of years ago.   All I have done to the car is put new tires on it and change the oil.   The AC worked when I got it. as the previous owner had just charged the system. but it only worked for a little while.   The system must have a leak. but I did not bother to fix it. since it was strictly a fair weather car for me.   It is a "No Reserve" Auction. but I can end the auction at any time since the car is for sale locally.   As with any older car there is no warranty. implied or otherwise.   You are welcome to call should you have any questions:  479)283-1148.

I am adding this note to let you know that I have posted photos of the undercarriage and the targa top.   I also want to state that I have the original owner's manual. extra keys. a book on the history of TVR. some interesting magazine and newspaper articles about TVR and the 280. as well as. a copy of the death certificate for the previous owner who owned the car for so long and drove it so sparingly.

I also want to let you know that I was unable to add all of the photos of the undercarriage.   If you really want to see them. let me know. and I can email them to you.   There is no material corrosion of the tube frame. everything is solid and the catalytic converters are stil there.   As I stated previously I am happy to email 10 or 12 more photos that I took this morning while I was having the oil changed.
