1988 Saab 900 Turbo Turbo

Cherry Red 88' Turbo 5spd. Odo indicated 40k miles, but service booklet shows somewhere in the 100ks, so TMU.

First and foremost, don't be shy with offers. Non auction listings last much longer, so consider the price a placeholder. However,I will not take $500 for the car and all it's associated parts, to give an example.

Project car for an enthusiast, reason for selling is I realized I simply don't have the time to give the car the attention it deserves. Will come with a host of spare parts, some photographed

The good/bad:

FMIC upgrade (needs brackets)

Strong running b202 (boosts great, runs rich atm)

5 speed transmission shifts through all gears

Rear suspension has been refreshed with brand new parts/bushings (adjustable konis in rear could be adjusted)

Entire front suspension refresh included in sale (matching Koni adjustables and Lesjofor lowering springs, some powerflex bushings but not all)

16' Aero wheels (need to be refinished)

Period recaro seats (do not have the stock passenger anymore, stock driver still installed)

Carpets have been redyed, along with floormats. Various interior panels also redyed (took me a while to find color correct tan products)

APC upgraded by independent shop (this was before my ownership, but as said boosts well, most likely because of this)

Refurbished injectors installed

Basic tuneup performed (spark plugs, fuel filter air filter etc)

SPG vent covers installed

Aftermarket swaybars, not installed (Addco)

Spare rustfree hatch, and both front doors. Off an 87' in a very close red (unsure of exact color code)

Clean California title, in my name. On Nonop, $14 a year to register :)

The bad/bad:

Rust (nothing mission critical, for instance a arms and mounting points are solid. Rear axle mounting panhard rod mounting solid)(primarily cosmetics, like some on hatch, front wheel arches, door sill bottoms. There is however a minor hole in the passenger footwell)

Runs and drives fine, however recently has been running rich. Doesn't like hot starts.

Suspension installed in rear should be give a final going over/adjustment. Tires are old as well. I do not drive it long distances.

Interior is partially dissasembled. Radio is intermittent.

Leaks, probably. Never actually checked hard under the car, but just assume it leaks something somewhere.

Hood hinges need adjustment. Makes opening closing the hood frustrating. Car has a clean title, so I assume not accident related.

Is generally a project car. So there are a lot of little details I am probably missing. Do not bid expecting a turn key daily driver. It is not that, but easily could be with the time and effort.
