1986 PANTHER KALLISTA ROADSTER

This is NOT a kit car! The Panther Kallista was designed by Robert Jankel and hand-assembled by Panther Westwinds in its factory on the grounds of the Brooklands race circuit in England. The Panther Car Company was a low volume hand-crafted, high quality builder of tributes of the 1930's vintage classic cars. The styling is reminiscent of the Allard, Morgan or   Lotus 7. The company was later acquired, and continued to build open two-seaters in similar fashion and allure as the pre-war sports cars. This magnificent Kallista, named after the Greek word meaning "small and beautiful", was built beginning in 1983 and imported into the U.S. beginning in 1985. Only 1,695 hand-built Kallistas were made, and only 148 were imported to the U.S. It has pre-war styling combined with current and reliable functionality. It is fun to drive and is a real head turner!

A sister Panther was driven by Cruella de Vil in the movie 101 Dalmatians.

This bright blue convertible is in excellent overall condition, has white panels, a like new saddle interior, a blue convertible top, Parade Boot Top Cover, triple windshield wipers, and a JVC AM-FM Bluetooth Pandora radio. The analog gauges are set in a walnut veneer trim. The car is fully carpeted, has dual chrome side view mirrors, stainless steel impact absorbing bumpers, running boards, a rear Continental kit with a full sized spare tire, chrome wire wheels, and 165/70R/13 steel belted radial tires that are like new. The car also has driving lights, wind-up windows, side vent windows, turn signal indicators, backup lamps and side marker lights.

17,366 original miles. Excellent running condition, reliable and has been well maintained. English Coach-built aluminum body over custom steel chassis, 4-speed manual transmission, 2.3 LITER ENGINE liter engine (THE SAME 4 CYLINDER FORD ENGINE USED IN MUSTANGS AND FORD RANGERS, SO PARTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE), 2 barrel carburetor, A-arm suspension in front, coil spring in the rear, with front disc and rear drum brakes. Approx length 160” x width 70” x height 50”, Wheelbase101”
