Well it's time to sell my 86 Buick GN

I bought this car May 5th 1989 and have done 90% of the work myself

1986 Buick Grand National with 23K miles

Ok. Since there seems to be several different listings of mileages on this car I'm going to explain as clear as I can.

The original frame and body had 121K on it when I started the work in Dec of 91. I R&R'd the engine. tranny and rear with a 23K original mile drive train out of an 87 GN. I also gutted the whole interior and did the same so the whole drive train and all of the interior has 23K original miles on it period!
The car's odometer is reading 108K because my original digital dash failed and was replaced with this one reading 108K.

The car was not insured or tagged from 92 until 2011 since it wasn't running at THAT time. It IS a RUNNING car now and starts right up.
The car has NO RUST on it. Has always been a southern car and has been stored in my garage since 1990.

This car was built with love and passion and by no means has been molested!!! . Yes many items were changed only to UPgrade them which you will do if you buy a stock one!
It has A Lot of potential once it's tuned and the boost is turned up to where it should be.

Interior is Perfect!

20yrs in the R&R process and less than 50 miles on it in 2 years since it's been running.

I am listing everything that I did to it during the process and I may jump around a bit but there was too much to keep in order as I listed it.

CUSTOM BUILT Wheels/Rims …I had these rims built with the same back spacing as the OEM GNX wheels and yes…It was troublesome and expensive! Over $3000 invested in wheels and tires.

Front air dams are sitting in the trunk. Removed for the pics

Downsides are

Paint is original with some touch up work done…Doesn't look too bad

Factory radio but no rear speakers yet as most guys will put their own stereo in it anyway.

The car isn't perfect simply because it's 28yrs old now so you can't compare them to the air ride suspension cars out now.
