THE DRIVE TRAIN FEATURES A STRONG RUNNING 454 BBC. POLISHED AIR GAP INTAKE WITH A 750 CFM EDELBROCK CARB W/ ELECTRIC CHOKE. HEI DIST. CHROME WATER PUMP AND ALTERNATOR. ALUMINUM PULLEYS. VALVE COVERS. AIR CLEANER. COATED BLOCK HUGGER HEADERS LEADING TO A CHERRY BOMB EXHAUST SYSTEM FROM SUMMIT RACING. [SOUNDS GREAT]

THE TRANS IS A NEWLY REBUILT 400TH AUTOMATIC WITH NEW STOCK TYPE CONVERTOR. THE SHIFTER IS A LOKAR NOSTALGIA TYPE .

THE DRIVE SHAFT IS CUSTOM BUILT FOR THE CAR AND LEADS TO A 8" FAIRLANE REAR WITH NEW WHEEL BEARINGS. SEALS. BRAKES . HARDWARE AND DRUMS. HELD IN PLACE BY A SPEEDWAY COIL OVER SETUP WITH A PANHARD BAR.   FLOOR MOUNTED LOKAR EMERGENCY BRAKE SETUP.

THE RADIATOR IS A USA MADE LARGE CAPACITY ALUMINUM WITH A 16" "SYCLONE" ELECTRIC FAN

FRONT SUSPENTION IS A SUPER BELL STRAIGHT AXLE. TRAVERSE MOUNTED LEAF SPRING. HAIRPIN RODS. HORTY SHOCKS. STEERING DAMPNER AND A MODEL A CROSSMEMBER ALL CONTROLED BY A REVERSED CORVAIR BOX WITH TRADITIONAL STEERING. CHEVY DISC BRAKES.

ALL FOUR TIRES WERE JUST PUT ON. KUMHO SOLUS. 215/70/15 FRONT AND 225/70/15 REAR. MOUNTED ON "US WHEEL" RALLEY'S

THE BODY OF THE CAR IS STOCK AND VERY NICE. THEY ARE WIDER AND LONGER THAN A MODEL A FORD. SO THERE IS MORE ROOM INSIDE. IT HAS NICE CONTOURS WITH A VERY NICE LOOKING GRILLE SHELL. ALL FEATURES OF THE CAR WERE KEPT ORIGINAL. THE PAINT IS "HOUSE OF KOLOR" SHIMRON BLACK GOLD PEARL METALIC. WITH BLACK FENDERS. SIDE APRONS AND FUEL TANK COVER. CLEAR COATED WITH PPG 2021

THE ROOF INSERT IS A "JULIANOS" KIT IN BLACK VINYL.

THE WINDSHEILD HAS NEW GREEN TINTED GLASS AND SWINGS OUT AS ORIGINAL. THERE IS DUAL COWL VENTS WHICH ALSO OPERATE. THE SIDE WINDOWS DO HAVE SOME MINOR SCRATCHES WHICH SHOULD BUFF OUT . THE TRACKS ARE NEW AND THEY ROLL UP AND DOWN GREAT. NO HEAT OR A/C INSTALLED YET.

THE WIRING IS A HYWAY 15 KIT FROM AMERICAN AUTOWIRE. ALL ELECTRONIC FEATURES IN THE CAR OPERATE AS THEY SHOULD.

THE INTERIOR HAS SEATS FROM A CHEVY EQUINOX AND FIT NICELY AS SEEN IN THE PICS. THE REMAINDER OF THE INTERIOR IS DONE IN LIGHT GRAY FABRIC WITH A MEDIUM GRAY CARPET. FRONT AND REAR HAS "JULIANOS" SEAT BELTS. THE INSIDE ROOF IS CUSTOM MADE OUT OF 1 3/4 " WOOD STRIPS WITH A 1/4" GAP BETWEEN EACH ONE. THEN STAINED AND CLEARED. IT RESEMBLES THE ROOF IN A WOODY STATION WAGON. VERY NEAT.

THE DASH WAS LENGHTED TO FIT THE DOLPHIN GAUGES AND INSERT. IT ALSO HAS A SINGLE ELECTRIC WIPER AND TILT COLUMN.

I am having my 30 restored. Putting 401 v8 in it. My question(s)
were u able to get v8 in the space where six was and still keep original hood and radiator intact?

Did u leave the body on the frame at the same height that it was originally?
The mechanic who is rebuilding my Essex has some ideas that I don't agree with in those regards & I am just wondering. He is pretty persistant in his views & I can't out talk him about anything if he sets his mind to doing something.
