1968 JAGUAR E TYPE   2+2  COUPE  PROJECT CAR. ( Car is located in Toronto Canada )

This car is considered serial 1.5 meaning that it retains many desirable serial 1 attributes like noticeable 3 windshield wiper arms, front and rear lights and then some other small parts. This makes this car rare for classic car enthusiasts. It comes with a triple carburetor set up.

Engine is 4.2 with manual transmission 4 gear and 6 cylinders.  The engine turns but does not start at the moment.

I have owned this car since 2014 and bought it as a project car to work on during my retirement. Due to circumstances I only did a few things with the car and now I have come to realize that I will probably never finish this project. So I am hoping that a new buyer will do what I could not.

The car was owned previously for 33 years by the same owner. He enjoyed the car and then stored when he had health problems. In my 7 years of ownership of this cars, I had the gas tank professionally cleaned and painted inside. I changed some parts of the fuel line, changed the electrical fuel pump and took out and apart  the 3 carburetors to rebuild it but I never finished rebuilding it ( so the car is sold with the carburetor in a separate box with some other parts that I had to take out in order to take out the carburetor like the filter box and other  small components). 

The body is still in good condition except the tip of the 2 front parts of the floor has some rust and needs fixing.  The black paint exterior is still presentable with a good cleaning, only has some small scratch marks, but no dents or dings. Chrome is in good presentable condition, needs cleaning though.

The interior is in good original preserved condition with normal wear and tear due to age. The seat upholstery and door panels are in preserved condition and no rips or cuts. The top dash is in good condition without cuts or cracks. The original gauges and switches are all present. The interior roof liner is in very good condition and clean with no marks.

The car comes with one ignition key and one door key. The door locks and closes properly. The windows work properly up and down.

The odometer shows 55749 miles.

The car comes with 3 boxes of extra parts used and new, like the carburetor kit and other small parts.

The car is sold in the condition as is in not running condition.

After the car is fully paid, I can keep the car for the buyer safely in storage inside my garage for a fair amount of time free to give time to organize transport.
