PEUGEOT 504 V6 COUPE 2.7 CARBURETTOR MODEL 5 SPEED MANUALBuilt 1977, UK registered. Peugeot Club UK registered. MOT and Tax exempt.Her first owner was a gentleman in Brussels, Belgium, then she was sold to his dear friend in Athens where she stayed until being bought to the United Kingdom in May 2020. She has always been dry stored and has a lovely original patina about her. The original dealer supplier plate is still on the boot lid. The original 4 speed transmission, sales brochures, service books and ultra thick maintenance manual which is extremely rare in itself will be supplied included in her sale. Subtle modifications that have taken place in Greece since her Re-Patriation to the warmth of the Mediterranean all those years ago include a re-upholster of the 2+2 seating in very soft Black leather, alloy wheels, the 5 speed transmission upgrade, Custom made Stainless Steel exhaust system and a more modern “flip” type CD / FM digital Radio unit that has a blanking facility that blends into the original dash beautifully.  Powered by the legendary V6 2700cc Renault / Volvo joint design engine, she has an abundance of Torque and with the Transmission upgrade the gearing is perfect. She's a swift mover and can easily catch you out speeding when the amazing sound of her Stainless Steel exhaust system is in full symphony. She would adapt extremely well to the modifications enabling her eligible for classic road rallies such as Le Jog, Rally of the Malts, the Classic Monte Carlo etc. She still sports her original Yellow headlamps and her original mileage on the original km/h speedometer.Being the middle class Touring Coupe of choice in France and Europe throughout the 1970's, she has fantastic curves and a shape second to none thanks to the design of the motor car genius of Italian design, Pininfarina. She often gets mistaken for a classic Ferrari or Maserati when the Lion emblem is out of view, she drives amazing with power and torque in abundance, she looks and sounds amazing.  Finished in the original factory Silver, she's in excellent condition with only a couple of minor age-related marks and items that a new owner would want to carry out to make her perfect. These include a couple of small bubbles in the paint on the rear boot lid, slight laquer peel in a couple of areas, the carburettors require setting up and adjusting (a difference in climate I suppose from hot and dry Greece to the uk), a new front near side inner bulb holder for the indicator / sidelight, a new electric window switch for the passenger side, a new pair of period front floor mats as there's a hole in the current drivers side one.She's just had a full service by a local trustworthy garage including oil, filter, plugs, air filter. She is about to have her rocker cover gaskets changed as one is very slightly showing signs of a weep being age related, so better change the pair, also the nearside rear brake calliper is slightly seized and the calliper refurbishment kit has arrived from France.If a new potential new owner is that impatient to get their hands on this wonderful motor car, I can hold off the items that require attention and of course, an adjustment in price would reflect he or she doing these minor jobs them self.  Genuine buyers are free to call me to discuss a potential sale further.
