1990 Jaguar XJS 3.6 Automatic Coupe

Exterior in Jaguar Racing Green with Barley interior. Believed that the TWR body kit was fitted from new by the supplying dealer along with the gold badges and wheels.

Some 73365 miles covered from new with full service history. The car has just undergone a comprehensive recommissioning service and inspection completed in June of this year as the vehicle has only covered 3000 miles in the last 16 years and has been in storage for most of that time. Previously MOT'ed in August 2018 and only completing 104 miles before its current MOT which took place in July 2021. 

The recommissioning service included oil filter, air filter and fuel filter, new spark plugs and engine oil, two reconditioned front brake callipers, two reconditioned rear brake callipers, new calliper brake pipes and new right rear radius arm as it had been damaged by the inappropriate use of a jack and two new gas struts for the bonnet.

The car now runs and drives very well and as it is fitted with the later four speed transmission gives a very modern feel to the vehicle.

The history file includes a set of photographs which show the repairs and restoration work to the front wings and front bumper and they remain in a very good condition today, unfortunately we do not know when this work was completed. The rest of the body and structure are in a good condition along with the paint. 

There are a few minor imperfections to the paint which include some marks on the rear bumper, a small ding in the boot lid caused when someone has closed the boot lid onto a protruding object and left a small pimple in the panel there is also a very small ding in the drivers door both repairs should be easily rectified by a paint-less repair technician. Both rear wheel arches are showing some minor bubbling just above the sill cover and there are two small bubbles on the front scuttle. The interior is in excellent condition as is the headlining which has recently been replaced. 

This XJS has covered less than 7000 miles in the last 25 years it is now time for a new owner to use and enjoy the car on a regular basis and take it forward for the next 30 years.
