1987 Lotus Esprit for sale

1987 LOTUS TURBO ESPRIT HCI. I reserve the right to end the auction early.   210-548-1310,  happy to talk!

This is the very last year model of the iconic GIUGIARO Lotus Esprit, used in two James Bond movies.

This fine example has the HCI = High Compression Injection motor.   It's Turbo charged and fuel injected aswell.  Total original miles 47,000.

This car just had an engine out and transmission out service due to a water pump leak.   So with the engine out we did the new water pump,  timing belt, v-belts and hoses.   Rebuilt fuel injection system,  new injections,  new transmission shift linkage bushings,  resealed motor, new clutch, clutch master and a lot more.   Over $10,000 in service.   Happy to text receipts.

The car is a 4 cylinder Turbo with a smooth shifting 5 speed,  the car is very light weight and is pretty quick for 1987.

All the lights,  turn signals,  horn, wiper etc work.   All the gauges work except Turbo Boost which I found was unplugged.   I can't find where it plugs in.

The car has a removable roof and all glass is good.   I have a huge original Lotus Service Manual,  Owners Manual and one other.   This is a fun car and it looks sexy.   Most don't know what it is.  Original Paint and interior.  Outer decals look good but are from different year model car.    Clear Texas title,  the car is located in San Antonio Texas.

A $1000 deposit is due at auction end,  by Zelle,  Apple Pay, or Cash App.   or Wire -in.   The balance within a week by cash in person or Wire.
