MGB GT 1979 finished in stunning White. Great condition with amazing history.

For sale is my fantastic 1979 MGB GT. Driving this iconic sports car would be a great way of starting the new year in style! Service history is fully documented and stamped. The original invoice of sale is also present from Tanners Motors Fulham (South London) in March 1979 and immediately exported to Germany.

I am still in contact with the first owner (Mr Allen) who was 29 years old when he purchased the car living in West Germany at the time working as a computer technician for a well known bank (Picture 7 shows recent correspondence from him). In the duration of owning the car he got married. later divorced and moved back to the UK in 1985 part exchanging it at Montroe Motors (now Glyn Hopkin dealership) Buckhurst Hill Essex.

Fully professionally restored in 1997 (invoice included). There is a large ring binder full of every document and receipt ever spent plus all M. O. T's since 1985. the mileage is well documented since new.

There are 2 plaques in the paperwork with prized classic car in 1999 and again in 2005. it still looks great as in the pictures  - no rust or dents. The paintwork is fantastic condition.  The mechanics and electrics are in full working order all standard specification.

Overdrive is fully working and there is a Kenlowe electric fan fitted. also featuring a stainless steel double exhaust pipe.

Driving the MG has a true dream car experience with rear wheel drive for that true sports car feel. cheap to insure and best of all great fun!

I have a British Heritage certificate showing original build specification stating assembly was at MG Abingdon from 22-23rd February 1979. registered the following month and then exported to Germany. There is even the original German V. I. N plate on the chassis and still has the original engine. XOK 939T is the UK registration from new. the German registration was HG PD 62.

M. O. T to April 2014 and Tax to March 2014. There is also a fully working Panasonic Radio/CD player included.
