VERY RARE 1958 rover p4 105r

roverdrive  automatic gearbox

this car is on the road you can just insure and go

two owners from new and both from spennymoor

first owner drove it home from the Solihull factory

the second owner was my father who bought the car

in the early seventies and kept it ever since

it has been garaged all it's life

 all the old log books

lots of tax discs and old mot certificates plus more

security etched windows

stainless steel exhaust

comes with spares ie . nbsp;fuel pumps . distributer  . radiator . points . condensers . track rod ends plus more

including front and rear windscreens to many parts to remember & list

 

any inspection welcome  rac . nbsp; ect ect

only bad points I can think of  the spray job is not brilliant but still presentable and usable as is but would benefit hugely with a re-spray  

the drivers door is in need of adjustment as it catches the wing when you open it ( minor adjustment )

he fitted new door rubbers recently but they seem to keep popping out of the channel if you catch them getting out of the car

not sure if they are supposed to have some kind of sealer on them ????

and will need a new battery as the one fitted is old and loses charge quickly

never bothered my father as he used to just charge it before he used the car

found on the removal of the seat covers a small split in the seam on the drivers seat

and a larger split on the rear seat also the radio not working and is played by one

that is fitted in the glove box now a very old car and a very rare model of a p4

remember you can drive this car home 

although not perfect it is not a restoration project it is on the road and legal

this is a 55 yr old car and views on condition will vary

NOW WITH FULL MOT PASSED TODAY 17/12/2013 WITH ONE ADVISORY FOR SLIGHT PLAY IN N/S/F KINGPIN BUT WAS TOLD THIS WILL NOT BE A PROBLEM FOR A LONG TIME YET . I HAVE ALSO APPLIED FOR THE ROAD TAX ONLINE AND SHOULD BE HERE WITHIN THE WEEK SO WILL NOW COME WITH FULL MOT AND TAX

If this car is still on the market, please let me se som more pictures or/and copies from chassi and body work in the past. As I'm living in sweden it is much easier for me to ask questions before entering a trip to Britain.
To be able to buy I also need info regarding V5C document and LAST mot. are you aware of any Tot spots on ususal places like around lights and rear of fron wings. Mountings of handbrake, door posts and sills, floor pans, flor around battery box and chassi over rear axel. I suppose you have driven the car lately and that gears and overdrive is functioning well.
Please let me know the status of above.
