The Jaguar was originally my father-in-laws and he was the second owner. I started the restoration in 1990 and had the work done over approximately three years. All the drivetrain. suspension and paint was professionally performed and I have  receipts in excess of $30. 00. The interior is original other than a couple of panels that were replaced and all the interior wood has been refinished. I drove the car for a number of years on "collector" plates (province of British Columbia. Canada) but unfortunately it has recently sat for a couple of years. As a result. when I started the car the carb overflows spewed fuel and the power steering reservoir has drained out  (either the reservoir or pump leak). I believe the automatic transmission is dribbling also. I want to stress that before being driven again this car needs some attention from a Jag lover who understands this marque and is willing to put some money and effort into it. Having said that. once on the road again this model is quite an impressive driver. I want to sell the Jag to finance my next project car. The reserve of $6. 00  has been set to allow some room for the attention the Jag will need.   As of October. 2013 Hagerty gives a value for fair condition at $8. 00 and average value at $15. 00. NADA gives a low retail value of $16. 00 up to a high retail value of $33. 00. You are welcome to have the Jag inspected if a local agent is available to you.  A deposit of  $1. 00 U. S.   can be made through Paypal. The balance payable by bank draft.  The cost of shipping from Vancouver. British Columbia.
