Very rare 1978 FJ40 in fantastic recomissioned condition having had lots of work in past 6 months by current car collector owner. Imported in 2019 from Australia, RHD, was in great condition when arrived but owner has spent a lot on getting her in great order. Work includes:Everything checked and replaced if neededBrakes relinedNew upgraded Elec fuel pumpNew carbNew hosesRefurb head, cleaned and valves reseated (compression excellent and pistons/bores excellent didnt need work)New Water pumpNew plugs/filters etcNew seat trimNew door trims/cardsInterior floor coated as 'bush' style bitumen coating (jet wash it if you want!) New rear floor rubber loader New door/window rubbers and any clips/winders etc that were neededNew front swivel jointsAll suspension, diff, running gear, everything under the car checked and replaced/refurbed where required. Looks nearly new under the car. Everything works as it should and is a very thorough recomission list of workShe is not a fully nut and bolt restored truck, has some small paint bubbles and a few small marks but she is rock solid body and paint wise and really shows well, not far off a full resto with very few marks to speak of. She is a great quality truck and drives great and a real throw back in driving experience! The added modern items in the recomission work mean she starts easy, runs perfect and has no issues. Small snags to make better? windcreen has a small crack, wing mirrors wobble about a bit ...thats it lol Fully restored ones of these are fetching 50k plus from what i can tell. She is set at a very genuine starting price and a real bargain with all the work thats been done. This one can be used as she was intended for many many years with all the recent work done. Selling on behalf of our customer/friend who collects lots of cars and changes his collection most years. He hardly used her as really enjoys the recomission work so when he does them he tends to sell them. So she is now fully sorted for new owner.
